My dear Mother died on the 18th of December 15 years ago.She was a double amputee.When ever I hear the Christmas shoes I think of her,not in a sad way.She is in Heaven and she is dancing again.Miss you Mom.

Gale, sorry about your mom but isn't it wonderful we all have pretty good memories of times spent with loved ones who've passed on.

I know the feeling, Preston......I've been doing the same thing....not grading papers, of course! But checking up on people here to see how they are doing! VBB is getting rather addicting, isn't it?! It's like Facebook.....can't seem to get away!! How was your cookies and milk?

I like Little Saint Nick by the Beach boys. It brings back neat memories of being in school and good friends. I love the sacred music too.

Well I finished grading all the papers.The kids did rather well.I listened to christmas music,had my own sing- a- long. I also ate many cookies.I did however get in a ten mile run.It clears my head of being a teacher.Our work is never done.To a new fresh good week to all.Back to being a teacher.

My favorite would have to be O Holy Night,sung by John Berry.He used to sing country,but now he sings Gospel.When ever I hear the Christmas Shoes I think of my Mom.

Last Sunday every hymn (except one) we sang in church was a Christmas song. How wonderful!

After not singing in a choir for about 35 years, I was able to get back into it. We just had our cantata on Sunday afternoon. Now it is really beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Music speaks to the heart!
