I like snow however I live in NC now and it rarely snows out here by the beach.  I miss snow.  I do like the cooler temperatures because I am at the wonderful age of experiencing my own personal summers every 30 minutes or so!!!Embarassed

because of surgery --------i started that experience very early-------and due to endometriosis--------i was not even allowed hormones for 2 full yrs-----------i found early on that the most help i found came from switching my clothing to 100% cotton--------------also sheets and blankets-----------------that also helped with perspiration and under arm odor --------which became non-existant---------now if i put on a nightgown or shirt with even 15% acryllic------------i can smell the fibers--------and it's not pretty---------i was told any natural fabric--like wool-------linen------but in texas we don't wear a lot of wool

it was 71 degrees here at 10pm last night---------60 at 6am this morn-----had to run the a/c again last night---------now it's down to 55 and a front is passiing------------freezing by morning  and back up to 60

i like that i don't have to cut grass then the cool days dont like the freezing cold  days and not hot days

oh well our 32 degree prediction for this morning came in at 46 instead

and here--------------we mow our grass most of the year-------------------actually with the drought -we've mowed more in nov and dec more than we did all summer----------------dead grass doesn't need too much tending

Winter is the one thing that doesn't stay very long in FL. Christmas Season is lived in shorts most of the time. Nothing like cold weather to help Santa and his reindeer!

I like winter in CA!  I can have flowers all year long  There is always something in bloom. I don't miss the snow and icy roads. I do like Nestle's new dark hot choc.

GRANA  here;
As a youngster,I loved the winter: building snow forts &loading them up w/ snowbals in anticipation ofsnowball figh tw/ others in my neighborhood.Buildingsnow people asalways un, too.Ice skating; sledriding were all good fun;so was comming hom& peeling off the layers of frozen wool clothing & enjoying a warming cup of hot cocoa.Now my fave partof winter is its nding foloweds hortly thereafter by spring blossms, chirping birds& warmer weather.Changing clothing in closets & drawers to lighter weight fabrics & softer brighter colorsi is fun too. Fresh salads &berries &peaches wil be plentiful & affordable onceagain.
I dn't enjoy it anymore; butI do enjoy the sight of yungkids playing in  the snow as I once did.

It's the truth Nancy.I'm pretty much home bound when there is snow on the ground.I'm so glad I have this computer,I can pretty much go where I want with this.lol lol lol.It's amazing also,having an internal defibrillator that the readings can be done right over the phone,some times technology is great!

Winter in Hawaii is fabulous!!  Unfortunately, I live in Northern Ohio!!  There is absolutely NOTHING that I like about Winter.

 I am From Lancaster, NY it is a town in the Buffalo New York Region
 so I loved the Snow!!!  and nothing I mean nothing closed down because of snow
  But I am living In Virginia so we don't always get snow
 but there are time we do but they are few and far between and when we do get snow
 the schools close and it is funny.
