I am both lark and owl.  I'm up at the crack of dawn and after breakfast, I start in on my agenda for the day.  In the evening (after all my agenda has been used up) I watch TV, if there is anything on worth watching, then I
head for the bedroom.  Well into the morning, I have the book I am currently reading in my hands.  Nice and quiet, noone looking for favors, etc.  I usually shut down around 2 or 3.....then back up at the crack of dawn, and start all over.  I know it sounds boring!!!!....but it works for me.

In Response to lark or owl?:
are you a morning lark or a night owl? i'm an owl & have been all my life. it's so nice & quiet then. i see a different world than morning people do. i get to hear all the night creatures & get involved in my things i'm doing without interruptions. and i get to hear all the morning birds when i go to bed.

I am a little of both.  I do well early in the morning and am usually up early.  I have the worst insomnia and get a lot of reading done in the middle of the night!  I generally get 2-3 hours of sleep a night. Not enough but at least it's something!

as a night owl i have to get up earlier than usual to go shopping & do appointments. i live in a small town & things close up for the most part although some gas stations stay open until 12:am. so being a night owl i wish that this town would catch up with other places & have some stores stay open late. :) here we have no shoe stores, two grocery stores & one general store-Walmart. Walmart without a grocery department & they also close after 10:00pm. i guess it's a good trade-off as i love being in the mountains and i can go see the mountains often. i live at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

I am a morning lark.  I love it because you can see the stars and the world waking up!

I am definitely a lark. I wake up happy to be alive and ready to begin my day. My children are mostly owls so they didn't especially care for my being so chipper.

I have always been a lark.  More so in the past but I am still a morning person.
But I love the evening.  My husband goes to bed at 7pm and it is the only time I get during the whole day that I have some peace and quiet and can relax and not worry that he will try to get out of the house or try to do something that he should not do.

I am a morning lark and now quite a bit of a night owl too....I don't seem to get enough sleep but I just can't turn my mind off from thinking.... I have tried everything but with so much happening  I can't help but worry about things....

I'm probably a lark although I stay up late once and a while.

Definely a lark.  By 10:00 p.m., I'm getting ready for bed!  It gets embarassing when I'm with the grand kids and granny has to go to bed!  I try to keep up with the young people, but "it is what it is"!

I'm kind of both lol.  I usually don't get to bed until after midnight and usually wake up early, sometimes 4 or 5 am.  Gets to be a drag though when I sit at the computer and nod off in the afternoon.  As long as I'm moving, I'm fine.  Now I just have to find some happy medium so I can get rid of those dark circles under the eyes lol.

I think I am more of a lark.  I'm usually good in the morning once I get going, but once I sit down later in the evening, I'm done for the day.

Most of us seem to be larks with a very good sense of humor.

I'm more of a lark with some owl tossed into the mix.
