Peace to all…
Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38 when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate. Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air. They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there. They were filled with such joy; they didn't know what to say. They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day. “where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse. “This is heaven" declared a small boy. "We’re spending Christmas at God's house”. When what to their wondering eyes did appear, but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near. He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same. Then He opened His arms and He called them by name. And in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring those children all flew into the arms of their King and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace, one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face. And as if He could read all the questions she had He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad. “then He looked down on earth, the world far below He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe, then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand, “Let My power and presence re-enter this land! “May this country be delivered from the hands of fools” “I’m taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools! “Then He and the children stood up without a sound. “Come now my children let me show you around. “Excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran. All displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can. And I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight, “in the midst of this darkness,” I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

Nancy, Thank you so much for posting this. The 20 little kids are in
heaven now but their families are really suffering. Wish the families
would be able to see this post and get some comfort from it. I feel so
bad too for the other children who witnessed it. I will be praying for
everyone.

As the mother of a child who was shot and killed I can empathize with the families. As a mother who has had to bury 3 of her 4 children I know the extra pain that comes with this season.  I believe that because of the day which we are about to celebrate and the ultimate Gift that was given to us I will indeed see all 3 of my angels again!!Innocent

Nancy, thank you for this beautiful truth.  I pray for this country and I fear for her, as well.

Nancy, first this is beautiful.  Thank you for posting this.  It is difficult to read, I can not get through it in one reading without crying.
What I find very sad is that you put a "disclaimer" at the start of the post for anyone who may be offended.  I know you did not have to put the note there but found that it might be necessary.

Nancy, how beautiful!!  Thank you so much.  In my Bible Study last night, the Pastor talked quite a bit about the tragedy in CT.  I cannot imagine how those parents felt.  When we think about those children, our eyes tear up....we have three beautiful Grandsons, and I'm not sure if I could handle anything like that.  Bless their souls!

This was beautiful, truthful & hurtful.  The beauty & truth in God & his continued kindness towards others, he will see that the children are cared for, loved and remembered while praying for the parents.  Hurtful that someone did this & some people in this world can do something this heinous.  They are children/toddlers/innocents killed, families torn apart, a small neighborhood baffled & left to unravel the two big questions:  why did he do this & why did he choose them. I can't fathom a person so evil or distraught to go on a killing spree.  I hope he did knock on Gabriel's front desk or God's front door & after a long talk & maybe a good spanking he was turned away.  Even the "very southern border of Heck" wouldn't accept this person: keep him lost in pergatory or limbo

Nancy, your message is very touching.  I like everyone else was horrified at the tragedy.  Those poor innocent children, being gunned down was the worst thing I've heard in a long time.  Thank you for your words of solace.

Renee, my heart is so full after reading your post.  I cannot imagine all that you have been through.  We almost lost our first child but she did survive a ruptured aneurysm in the brain at age 19.  She is crippled like someone who has experienced a stroke.  She is 52 years old now, drives, works and does all that she can do with her limitations.

GONE TO SOON. An eleven year old male was attempting to get on a stopped School Bus with lights flashing and the  stop arm out Wednesday Morning. A unattentive driver disagreed. GONE TO SOON.
