But I am getting used to signing in and just keep doing it.  It's worth it!

[I am having the same problem and although I have repeatedly tried to get an answer, nothing has been forthcoming. I am really beginning to dislike this website and am thinking of never returning since there are so many others to view.

I am really getting angry with this website. I am not a genius, but trying to get to the source is annoying. I have experienced the same problem. How can a website be set up and not function correctly. I am getting very discouraged. I thought the new site was a good thing, but now...

I just sign in every morning, as I am not really clear as to the benefits of being kept signed in.  Mary Ann S.

All VBBers:

The source of the sign in issue is being addressed and you should be able to stay signed in next week.  We apologize for the trouble this has caused!

I was just thinking the same thing this morning!!!  The reason to sign in is to make sure your Brownie points get credited.  But it is a pain to have to sign in every time..I hope they get it fixed.

I do not mind signing in but no matter what I look at recipes, etc. my points do not increase.  Not to worry.  I am sure you are doing your best and will give us more details when everything is working fine.  Maybe a little guidance is called for.

Although the sign-in feature doesn't work yet,  it looks like the log in points are starting to show(I hope).  I still haven't figured out where to go to see what points are being credited.  Guess I'll just have to trust that they are doing it right.

Angela:

We're here!  The "fix" is in place and all VBBers should see this improvement over the next 2 days with some accounts seeing it before others.  We apologize for the delay; this is an inconvenience to you and all of our VBBers that should not have happened.

Other than having to sign in each morning, which I figure is because I shut down my computer every night, I don't have these problems. I am accruing brownie points, I am able to get to my recipe box AND save recipes to it. So either these are problems to your computers or just very individual problems. Have you contacted VBB or just complained here? Maybe VBB can help you correct the problems if you did, anytime I have emailed them with a question or problem they have always gotten back to me within a reasonable amount of time and USUALLY given me a reasonable response. Try it if you haven't done it. They may not have enough personel to read every single post made on these forums.

Hi Donna, No, actually the problems we are all having are due to the changing of the VBB site. Seems some of us just are having more problems than others. VBB had said they would have the automatic sign in fixed on Friday (yesterday) but I see last night and tonight when I signed in, that hadn't yet happened. Then I just read their post here that it may take a couple more days to take effect for some of us. So I will patiently wait. It's just so much easier to do things when I'm automatically signed in. When you have dial-up like I do, it takes longer to do all that stuff. But to address your first comment, you shouldn't have to sign in just because you shut down your computer at night. I also shut mine down every night as well. When I sign in to VBB, I always check that little box that says "keep me signed in" or something like that. When VBB is working correctly, I shouldn't have to sign in each time.
I haven't been able to save any recipes to my recipe box since the site changed, but I do still have some of my recipes in my box, though a lot of them are among the missing. I'm hoping once things are fixed here they will be back there. VBB says they will, so I am taking them at their word! And yes, like you, I have also contacted VBB with problems, questions, concerns, and compliments ever since I joined. They've always gotten back to me within five days usually. I really enjoy this site....the recipes are fabulous, chatting and getting to know other VBB'ers, reading all the baking memories. So I am patiently waiting for things to be fixed and "normal" again! Have a great weekend!

Donna, if you go thru the posts on the forums, you will see we have complained. Often and loudly and it isn't getting us any where. Live Chat is unable to help with the boards and trying to contact Nestle's thru the contact site is not easy since you need to post UPC codes!

Sign in is still not working, error messages still pop up and I still have not gotten most of my recipes back. Posts are still disappearing on a regular basis along with photos that have been posted.

If you are not having trouble, consider yourself the lucky "one" of all the others who are tired of fighting with this. For those of us who have waited and those who are still waiting, wonder how many more "it will be fixed by XX" we will hear?

Donna,

I wish you would quit reapeating the same message. Some of us have contacted VBB and nothing was done for months on end. We all know what we need to do and your repeating the same info over and over when others voice their concerns and complaints is not helping the issues any at all. When I put things on the boards, it is to see if I am the only one having the problem or if others are having the same issues. This new website is really a PAIN!!!. I was not even able to sign in for several days, but just got the same old, same old answer that they were working on it. Since, like other,s have reported, I cannot find any way to see the detail of the points credited to my account, I have no way to know if points for those days have been credited. I tried to sign on but just kept getting the sign on screen. Like I said before, THE NEW WEBSITE STINKS!
