I like a veggie pizza, also black olives and peppers and onions.  It is hard to say which one is the favorite.

If I'm making the pizza, it's a thin crust, lots of red sauce, mozzarella cheese, sweet Italian sausage, peppers and mushrooms. If I'm eating out, we have a small chain called Numero Uno that's my favorite. They serve thick crust that's a bit sweet from olive oil, and fresh diced tomatoes, along with the toppings of choice.

My taste in pizza varies widely.it depends on my mood and where it is coming from. The base of the pizza also varies,French bread, pita bread,English muffins and raised dough but I do enjoy thin crust best.I made pizza last night with bread flour and I really like the results,a thin chewy crust.I put on light sauce, parmesan cheese ,sweet basil, mozzarella,Italian sausage and onions.Every once in awhile I even like anchovies once in a great while but it has to be put on sparingly, most places put on way to much,I think it should blend in with the other flavors, not the only thing you taste.Just pepperoni rolled in a good raised dough and baked is awesome served with a good pizza sauce or olive oil with spices on the side for dipping.Well I'm off to the store and I really think I need to buy some pepperoni don't you! lol !

Ann, Ann, Ann...How can you have a listing of Deep Dish..Thin Crust and Flat bread in the same listing!

A Deep Dish Pizza is in a class by itself.  There is also a difference between a Deep Dish and a Stuffed Pizza.
I invite you for a visit and I will escort you on a tour of Deep Dish Pizza that will inform, educate and delight you.  So this would be an "educational trip, a fact finding mission".

I have several favorite topping for my pizza.
One place I like the Spinach and cheese I also get bacon and tomato on it so it is my Deep dish version of a BLT.
Another place has one that they put Chicago Style Italian beef and gardinara on it.  Nice blend of flavors with a spicy bite from the Gardinara.  Giardinara is a pickled mixture of onion, jalapeno peppers, green peppers, cauliflower, celery.  It is packed in olive oil. Great on pizza, salads and my salami sandwich.

My husband likes the thin crust.  He always said if he wanted a loaf of bread he would order a loaf of bread.  He likes sausage, mushrooms, onions, green pepper on his pizza.
Needless to say we have to order 2 pizzas and then we take home half of each for the next day.

thin crust only-----i agree with nikki p's husband-------------i get a deluxe, with most meats and veggies and have them delete the olives and green peppers------------i don't like olives on pizza and the pppers give me indigestion------

Hi NIKKI;WhenI posted I was tired, in a rush & hoped everyone would pick a  line & then post their own particular prefference(s).
Thin crust( around here  is just a crust tossed or stretced or rolled ( too) thin.Flatbread pizza is madew/o yeast(likepita)& therefore does not rise; especiallygood griiled.
DEEP DISH ( around here) is regular crustl eft too thick& placed n the pan( too much bread for me; unless t's a really good dough & then I want either marinara sauce orEVOO on the side for dipping.Wink
CHICAGO STYLE( had elsewhere) was  a  good crust lplaced  & formed to curve up the side of the pan, forming a bowl like base n which to load up the toppings & cheese.; this too is better w/a sauce or EVOO for dipping
I especially like an eggplant(mellanzano) like an  open faced eggplant parm sandwich..
..I'd  love o take you up on your pizza   tour, someday.
TheBLT version sounds good;
The most original & yummy one yet was a pineaple & jalepeno pizza( the hot & sweet played off each other nicely(like a Hawaiin w/o the ham.
Spinach& cheese( w/feta, mozzerella  & Romano is especially good at the nearby Greek restaurant..............
We both grew up w/N.Y. style izza( hand tossed crust w/ red sauce a combinaton of cheeses to make an"ooey -gooey topping in the oven. The crust was neither too thick or too thin, It was
"just right"& folded easily to help contain all the melted cheese on the ay to your mouth.
I see your"problem"of having to get 2 pizzastopleaseyou both;  as not really a problem; you'll both getwhatyou want & enjoy it 2 times once you've"invested in the2 pizzas. That's why we like the pizza buffets; we can each pick the crust & toppings we like & only pay $5 ppSmile
including a decent salad bar.
BTW: There is bacon at the salad bar to add to any pizza if desired.

Ahhh,... the wonderful thing is there are so many pizza types and ways to make a pizza that everyone can get the type they want.

The types of pizza available keep evolving to reflect changing tastes and to some extent the wide variety of ethnic cuisine that abound in this wonderful country of ours.

I prefer the thick crust and buy the frozen Freshetta or Kroger brand when they are on sale.  I always add lots of chopped green peppers from my stash in the freezer that came from my garden.  Sometimes i add frozen broccoli.  I only eat one small piece though.

I love thin crust pizza with cheese and pepperoni with black pepper.  If I get
a pizza from Costco, I add sliced red bell pepper, red onion, mushrooms,
tomatoes, and green olives.  Last week I made a new pizza dough recipe
with bread flour and yeast.  That is now my favorite crust. It was so good!!!
