i feel its not a must have . everynight after dinner we don't eat dessert . maybe if i have fresh fruit but now a must

I like dessert but it's not a must have thing...as i can only have sugar free desserts anyway...but I love cake and pillsbury makes sugar free cake mixes...they are awesome!!!

Connie, be sure you read the labels.  Sugar free doesn't mean carb free, that is the problem for us that are diabetic or pre diabetic.  My sister-in-law counsels diabetics , and she warns everyone to read those labels on the side of the package.

My children seem to think so, even though I have always stressed that dessert is not a required part of any meal.  For them, dessert is something sweet, but not healthy.  I tell them that if they would like a "dessert" after a meal I haven't offered one for, they may have fresh fruit or veggies!  They are usually not hungry enough for either!
