In Response to Re: interested in knowing where we hail from:
Ah thank you ann h :) Nikki, I take it you've been to Scotland, I just spent the weekend in Edinburgh with my husband last month, it was beautiful, such a lovely city, and it snowed as well, swoon. You would love Ireland, I find in the last number of years though things have become quite expensive, not a great lure for tourists but its actually the landscape and sights which are the best things here so of course they are free :) Thanks again guys

I have been to Scotland. Did a trip when I was young and stupid..I should say young and didn't know any better. I went with no plan, no reservations just a Britt Rail Pass.
The people are so friendly, the countryside so beautiful. Although I am convinced that one of the reasons people are so friendly is that I talked to people and they responded. You can't help but talk if you are wondering around not knowing where anything is.
My Grandfather was from the Isle of Skye so that was my ultimate goal to tour around Skye. Beautiful Island.
I do plan to return and I will have to make it a long trip and get a bit of Ireland in as well.
