Last night, due to Yahoo's prodding, I switched to IE9 and Yahoo's Beta. Anyone else doing that stuff?

I have never heard of IE9 before or Yahoo's Beta.  Give more information, please.

IE9 is Internet Explorer version 9. It's their latest version. I personally use Mozilla Firefox so I have not upgraded to IE9 yet.

I did upgrade to Yahoo's Beta last night. They offered a test-run of it a few months ago and I had no problems with the changes. So the upgrade was a no-brainer. All my contacts, folders, and email transferred over to the new version with no problems...gratefully!

I leave that stuff to my husband.  Then if there is a problem, he has to deal with it.

We have att U-verse.  I still haven't figured that out yet.  I let my husband deal with the details.  He thinks I need a new laptop as I am still operatiing on windows XP.  He has all Windows 7 now on his 2 computers.  He had to buy me a new printer when he changed to Windows 7 as I couldn't "connect" with his stuff.

I haven't made any changes lately.  Not even sure how I would go about doing that.

hee hee Verlee -- You're talking to a no-brainer.  Tongue out
I really dislike the Beta -- can't bear it, I switched back to the old stuff.
And IE9, for me, is s-l-o-w and difficult to deal with.   Even finding My Favorite listings was difficult.
And it doesn't tell me or show me in any way when an email is sent -- it just sets there.
I really dislike it.
I'm old ..... I don't like change - lol

I dislike change as well and with the move I am going to have to decide if I want att for phone, computer and tv.  I will probably go that route.  Not a fan of satellite as the picture goes out easily..so says my daughter who lives not far from where we are moving.
Not going to like waiting for the set up and then learning how to operate everything.  wonder if they will allow the technician to move in for a week to show how everything works.

Haven't changed anything.  I leave that to my Son whenever he comes here.  He's four hours away.  My other son does that for me too.  He's about an hour away.

I have to update to IE9 yet, I usually wait a while to make sure they have all the bugs out
of it first.  We had at&t for phone for a long time but we couldn't get high speed. Changed
last April to Cox Cable for everything (bundle) and are very happy with them!

Norton still works for us. We did try Mozilla Fire Fox which my computer literate son-in-law likes. Norton is free from our website company and it does work.

Angela,  Norton has worked the best for us. We have tried others but have the least trouble with Norton.
