We try to go often as we can.It's very busy now with the Holidays approaching.The reason I thought I would share this with you,the Market was featured on MAN VS FOOD last night.I was wondering if any of you saw the show.There are several video's of the market on you tube.If you every visit Cleveland this is a "must" stop and see,you will not be disappointed.There is an other place here that is fun to visit the "Asian Plaza" I'll see if I can find a video from there.Thanks for letting me show you a little of my home town.

I think there is a market like this in Milwaukee. I may have to make a day trip to find out.
I think many cities would benefit if they took large open public buildings and made markets like this one and Pikes in Washington. I think there are a lot of vendors that would participate and many people that would support the shops.

I think that when the Winter weather is over, we will be making a trip to Cleveland. That market looks awesome!! We HAD something similar in the vicinity. It was in conjunction with the outdoor Farmer's Market. During the Summer, people would visit the indoor market; but when Winter set in, it seems as though they forgot it was there, and it didn't last very long. The Farmer's Market is still there in the Summer, so all was not lost.

I agree Nikki,there should be more places like this.I would think the overhead would be more affordable than trying to go it on your own.The Cleveland Clinic sponsors a market day I believe it is once a week.Vendors come to sell their baked goods,fresh veggies and fruits in an effort to encourage healthier eating.The thing about the Westside market is surprising you would think they would be more expensive than the store,but they aren't.You have to walk around first then go back to the vendors with the best deals,lemons sell in the grocery stores for .69 cents each at the Market I have seen them 10 for a $1.Everything is so fresh,the meat prices are more affordable also.

We have a lot of Christmas programs in my home town. Red Cloud,Nebraska.
We are the home of Authur Willa Cather. She wrote a lot of books about Red Cloud.
There is a lot of lights up everywhere.

Oh,so glad you are coming to Cleveland try to make a stop at the Westside market while you are here,They are opened Mon.Tues,Thurs.and Sat.Closed Wed.and Sun..I'll tell you we have food everywhere around here,little Italy,the Asian market,their fish is so fresh,they are still swimming around in large aquariums.lol all the great restaurants,Tremont is full of restaurants owned and operated by up and coming chefs.You can eat your way from one end of Cleveland to the other! I'm not kidding.

GRANA here; Nice place to shop; reminds me of the famous Farmer's Market in Los Angeles; a great place for food loving tourists to spend a few hours.
Boston has 2 similar places.Quincy Mkt. & Fanuelle Hall, filled w/ specalty food shops& boutique gift sshops
Seatle,Wa.has one too.
