 It has been some busy long months. My son was married in Aug- all went well--- lots of work----hurricane Irene could not ruin the day.... Healthwise I'm good. working on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been some busy long months.

My son was married in Aug- all went well--- lots of work----hurricane Irene could not ruin the day....

Healthwise I'm good. working on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my father in law has been sick for over 5yrs.He passed away on Nov 6th. There will be a mass on Nov. 12th, then buried with military honors on Monday...He passed away peacefully surrounded by a house full of people..we never let him be alone

I could use your help . My son wants to get some songs together to make a cd for his pepere. we would like to play it at thr reception..We are using some Sinatra, Josh Grobin,Elvis ( gospel )... You all have some great ideas please share them.

Enough of me...HOW ARE ALL MY FRIENDS ????????????? I DO HOPE YOUARE ALL WELL. I MISS POSTING AND READING THE POST.....GOOD TO BE BACK.....THANKS FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS.....

Julie, Welcome back. I appreciate his service to this country. Glad you made it through Hurricane Irene. You've had a busy time of it. I don't have a suggestion for music for the service. Stay well.

Welcome back Julie. So very sorry to hear about your father-in-law but I'm sure he's up in heaven watching over you.

As far as songs, I don't have any specific ones but I've heard some gospel songs from Patsy Cline and the Statler Brothers that were great. A search might turn up some good ones. Take care.

Julie, welcome back. Glad you are doing well. Sorry about the loss to your family. He sounds like he was greatly loved.
There is a song by Vince Gill that is fantastic. I think he wrote it for a brother that passed away. I will look for the title and be right back.....
Ok I got it...Go Rest High on that Mountain. You can listen on YouTube great song. I think I want that played when it's my time.

The mass and the military burial was sad and peaceful at the same time. The church was packed with so many people..We are all going back to work and school. The kind words from all of you has helped so much....God Bless you all.
