GRANA here;
 Last week(SUNDAY)  The grocery chain we've shopped at for over20years opened up a new store less than a mile from us.
The store we usually sho in has been very undependable fornot  having  ad items available to purchase I  make up weekly klymenus based on their printed ads& this makes it  difficult   for me.
They also stopped carrying things we like; stocking more & more snack/junk  foods(chips ; salty & highlysugared items
 We went to the new store to see what  they carry & found more of our preferred items
 I found a whole(fully cooked) cold BBQchicken for  $1.25 [about .
3# when raw]
I've been making chicken salads; salads topped w/ chicken pieces &  have several  meals worthof pieces in the freezer!!!!!
Hubby got a # pkg of boloney fr$1.49; $3.99 in  other  stores. They also had huby'sfave figs notcheap but
in stock

and sliced American 2%cheese for  $1 less a pkg than  the other store.He prefers baloney to almost  st any oher food this time of year& I enjoy  getting out  of the hot kitchen whilehuby  prepares hisown sandwiches& helps himself to my homemade potato salad

It is a new month with new coupons coming out. I enjoy using coupons to save money and eat well. I continue to purchase whats on sale using coupons. I do not care how neighbors spend their money or what they drive.
