Hi Carol,Do you have Aldi's where you live? They don't take coupons at all but most of their prices are 30-50% off the normal grocery store prices on their store brand and they offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.I might be wrong but I heard they are also owned by Trader Joes? Between Giant Eagle who doubles coupons up to .99 and offers 10 cents off per gallon of gas with each $50 purchase which can be accumulated over a period of time. They also offer certain items each week if you purchase those items they give extra bonus gas points. They also give food perks, not sure how that works but right now I can get 14% off my grocery bill,I'm waiting for a good meat sale then I'll use those.Marc's is only here in Ohio but they have decent prices and will take coupons but won't double them.Their produce is so nice and a lot cheaper than the other stores. I have brought my grocery bill down by 50%.It takes a little time but it is worth it.They say if you spend an hour or two a week planning on where to shop and using coupons you can save up to $50.I also memorized the lay out of each store and I arrange my coupons and shopping list to make it easier to find my items as I come to them according to the isles. If the items are out of stock that makes it easier to move the coupons out of my pile and back into the organizer. This also saves time and the cashier is happy because everything is organized.I always do my shopping the last day of the sale that way I can check the following weeks sale and see if there might be a better deal coming. When Milk is on sale I always buy 1 or 2 extra gallons and freeze them.Wow sorry about all this I just get so excited about being able to save money. If anyone has any shopping tips please share.

Aldi's is not owed by Trader Joes
At Giant Eagle I spent $43.84 and saved $80.24 BOGO beef roast, 7 Aussie hairspray for $1 each,6-4 packs Activa Yogert for$ 1 each, 6 Zone free bars = FREE with coupons,6 jars of Mt. Olive pickles for $1 each and varies other items I didn't have coupons for.I used my food perks and that saved me $7.06.GOOD SHOPPING TRIP !
Some of the best buys on meat lately have been on chicken and pork. With the high price of beef, I just walk right on past. I found sirloin pork roast today for $1.49 a pound. Will cut some of it up to make stew and leave a larger piece for a roast. Any leftovers from the roast will be stir-fry later on.Will have to match up Sunday's coupons to the ads that come out on Wednesday to find out what's on sale.
