My son and I stopped @Aldi's for our veggies and salad veggies,We bought 2 bags Romaine hearts 3 per bag.Buying them like this they stay fresh a little longer,1 large bag baby spinach,celery,3 seedless cucumbers,2 bags green onions,2 boxes cherry tomatoes,2 bags baby carrots one for us ,one for the pups,3 heads cabbage one for St.Patricks day.one for cole slaw and one for cabbage and noodles,5# bag of red potatoes and a bag of tortillas. The bill was under $19.not too bad! This is half of what the big chain store would have charged me,plus their produce isn't very fresh due to high prices and noone is buying it so it goes bad.YUCK!

In Response to Re: How are the grocery prices in your area?:
Prices are on the rise in Wisconsin too.  I think as the gas rises so do the grocery prices.  Even that well known discount store has had quite a few jumps on things.
