Target has a sale on Coke four 12 packs for ten dollars I used my own bags and paid 9.80. I received five cents a bag off my total bill. Rainer cherries were on sale at another store about a block away for 2.99 a pound. I purchased a l little over three pounds of cherries and used three dollar off coupons my total was 6.79. I drove about three miles round trip. Twenty cents saved using my bags with three dollars in coupons. Plus not much fuel or time.

GRANA here;
 Like verywhere else, our grocery store prices are  too high, makingt  the  " challenge" of eating eting well on a budget  even more difficult  Lastweek [ newcrop] peaces wre on  ad/sale  for $.99# the variety not mentioned.The week before "white'peaches were $1.99# I prefer freestone peaches &  rarely buy any other type, especiallynot at $1.99 #Yell
Hubby  walked  to the store1/4 mile away &came home w/ 2.5  of eaches for 99 cents a #
Some were already ripe&   I cut them into cubes o freeze or smoothies  ,The  fruit just fell ff the stone===== freestone peaches; so juicy, I had to put a dish towell on the floor below where I was cutting them
. I have 8 bags ( 1cup each) of peach dice & we'll be enjoyingthem fr awhile onhot days for lunches & lightsuppers

Giant Eagle has a nice seafood sale this weekend Fri/Sat/Sun.I hate goung shopping on the weekend but this sale may have to be checked out.They have Salmom $5.99 #,Snow crab legs $5.99 #,extra large Shrimp $4.99 #,Orange Roughy$6.99 # and Swai $2.99 #.If you buy 4 Starkist tuna pouches 4/$5  you get .30 cents off a gallon of gas up to 30 gallons.I think I'll buy 20 pkgs that will get me a bonus of $1.50 off a gallon or a savings of $45.00 That's like getting all the tuna for free and saving $20 on a tank of gas, sounds like a win win situation to me.

Corn prices hit all-time high

Hot, dry weather across the country has ruined crops. Is it time to rethink the ethanol mandate
