Even with the gas prices starting to go down a bit, I have a feeling we won't see grocery prices coming down.  Although right before Easter the stores around here had some of their most reasonable pricesfor certain things.  All we can do is watch for great sales, use coupons, whenever possible and stock up if we can.

I was surprised today that the store I went to still had some Easter candy on clearance.  Wasn't much left but I did manage to get hubby some more jellybeans at 50 cents a bag.  Also stocked up on the plastic eggs for next year at the same price.  Every little bit helps.

The best way to shop is to look at the sale ads and hopefully find a coupon to match.

GRANA  here;
 Dueto the warmer weather, our main food items:fruits& veggies are lower in price.Itdoesn't quite make up for thehigher prices on almost everythingelse.All in all we are not as adversely affected as many others, but do feel the pinch when it comes t buying meats,fish & poultry.While eggs are no higher in price they are on sale less often .Still an omelette ( filledw/  cheese/ meats/ beans/ salsa is a nice lighter mal on on summer days  easier to prepare & sorely missed due to higher  prices ( w/no sales for a budget   breakFrown

It  does not even fill the sack for $10.00 worth of grocerys. I use a lot
of coupons now but still it is not that much of a saving. It is a good
thing I have my own meat I could not have meat everyday if I had
to buy it in the store.

I've noticed that the prices are about the same, but the content is getting smaller.  In other words less  for the same price!
