I believe that an education is the first step to success.   My son is graduating from 8th grade this year so it will be a big change for him (and me) next year in high school.

Congratulations to all graduates and best of luck for a happy future!

Sucess is MORE than appearances suggest or: a state of mind: y ou can have a "great" career; "perfect" looking mariage & not b e a success.
OR CONVERSELY,  you may be unemployed,  unmarried & be" right w/ G-D.If that is your situation, you are a SUCCESS in my book!
As a child;  I lalways wys thoutht that " being  happy in your own skin" (lot in life) was success.   I saw  too many peope w/ BIG HOUSES; FANCY CARS; ACT  MEAN TO ALL & be  UNHAPPY; I saw those folks as failures.
In my child's innocent  uninformed eyes, I thought that G-d wanted us to be happy; kind to others; protective of the weak & innocent. Doing anyhing less/els ewas just not success!

My dad always said to me that "they" can take away all your possesions, but they can never take away your education!  I think one of his proudest moments was when the last of his 4 grandchildren graduated from college.  That meant all 4 had completed college.  My nieces graduated from Duke and Stephens college, and my two both graduated from U.C. Davis.

We have three graduations this year.  My two grandsons are graduating from high school ( different schools - different families) and one of my granddaughters is graduating from middle school.  The boys have both been accepted at colleges  (one in a screen writing major and one in a chemical engineering major)   My grandaughter is graduating with straight A's all through middle school!!   Way to go Madeline (aka Maddie)!!!!    I'm just a proud grandmother.

Congrats to all the graduates.  My grandaughter is also graduating from 8th grade this month.  Not sure if we will even get to go to the ceremony which makes me sad.  She's a very good student and gets good grades but high school is like another world lol.  Even us "old people" remember high school lol.

Congratulations to all the graduates.  Both my sons have their Bachelor's degrees and Master's degrees and both graduated with honors.  My oldest son is now taking Supervisory classes.  He's a high school AP math teacher.  My younger son works at a college.

Congratulations to all the new graduates !!! I do believe that a good education is necessary in our society today.I always taught my children to work hard and appreciate what they have.I've also told them I didn't care what type of work they chose just to do the best at whatever they had chosen to do.Always give 100% and sometimes more when needed. If you have done that then you can be proud and hold your head high.

Education is a sound basis for any job, career, or life's work.  But never stop learning.  Just because school is finished (for now, or forever for you) don't stop trying new things and gaining new skills.

I think graduation is an important rung on the ladder.  However one must never stop learning.  I have always said the day you stop learning is the day you die.
An open mind is as important as the graduation.  Things change and we must be willing to change with them.
As children we expect ceremony to mark special achievements in our life.  As adults we mark special achievements in other ways.

Much like New Years resolutions graduations can be a great way to start anew or it can be the start to another down slide.  You make your life what it is.  Your success does not depend on a ceremony it depends on determination, positive attitude and the willingness to put effort into you.
