I read anything that comes my way. Since we are on a fixed income, I no longer buy books, & when the new library was built further away from us, I stopped going. People are kind enough to give me books now & then. I read in bed every night (even if it is only 2 pages) depending on how sleepy I am.  I just finished "Shaker Run" by Karen Harper & Sat. I started "A Bend in the Road" by Nicholas Sparks.

Angela - I read "The Shack" maybe 2 years (?) ago.  At first I was sbsolutely staggered by it's impact.
Now I wonder about it .... I will not read it again.  I'm just too uncertain about its ... its ..... its ....... ???

I love to read - romances, mysteries.  Right now I just got a new Reader's Digest and started that.

I keep our local library (just a couple of miles down the road) busy ordering books for me.  Sometimes, if the book is really in demand, my name might be the 200th one to read it; but I wait patiently.  I just finished reading a book by Emily Giffin, the title being "Heart of the Matter".  This is the first book by this author that I have read; but it will not be the last.  It was hard to put down!  I'm on my way to the library this afternoon to see if I can find any more of her books on the shelf.  If not, I'll put in my order with one of the Librarians.
