Hello Folks!  I just made it back to WI.  I was in Lee Summitt MO for several days.  My closest and dearest friend lost her husband to throat cancer.  Keep her & her 15 &

Girlfriend's loss

Hello Folks! I just made it back to WI. I was in Lee Summitt MO for several days. My closest and dearest friend lost her husband to throat cancer. Keep her & her 15 & 13 year old sons in your prayers. He was a KC Firefighter for 34 years. They have Christ in their lives and seem to be doing well. As a Christian I know that prayer is vital! Lisa, prayers are being said for your friend and their two sons.It's so difficult to lose someone,especially your spouse and the boys dad.My heart goes out to her and the boys.I lost my dad when I was 15 and my brother was 12.It was very difficult for me but more so for my brother.Boys need their dads.Your girlfriend will have to pull her sons in even closer than before.My Mom was both mom and dad to us and we three were always very close.God Bless her and her boys and you.She will need a friend in the up and coming months,be there for her.God bless you!

Lisa, your friends and family are surrounded and supported by Father-Mother, God. I hope they can lean on Him and trust that He will take care of them.

Sorry to read about your girlfriend losing her husband and definitely will remember her in my prayers. She will have her hands full with raising her two teenagers. Hopefully there is a male relative or another firefighter friend to help with the male guidance that the boys need at this time.

Sorry for your lost It seems there is a lot of Cancer around these days.
I hits home a lot of the time. You can always fine a friend or family
member that have been diagonest with it.

My thoughts are with you and your friend. My boys are almost the same age as your friend's kids. I don't know what I would do if I lost my husband now. Stay in touch with your friend. I am sure she will appreciate the friendship in the future.
