In Response to Re: gifts frorm VBB : I have 2 great recipes for you to try. Fudge-Filled Bars 1 Can (14 ounce size) Sweetened Condensed milk 1 package, 12 ounces of semi sweet Chocolate chips 2 Tb butter 2 tsp vanilla 2 packages, 18 ounces cookie dough, any flavor Pre heat oven to 350 degrees In a heavy sauce pan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate cips and butter; heat until the chips melt. Add vanilla. Cool 15 minutes. Using floured hands press 1 1/2 packages of cookie dough into ungreased 15X10 jelly roll pan. Pour cooled chocolate mixture over the top. Crumble the remaining dough over the top of the chocolate mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars. This is adapted from one that uses a cake mix as a base. Buckeye Bars 2 packages of Cookie dough 1 Cup chopped peanuts, if desired. 1 Can, 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk 1/2 Cup peanut butter Mix the peanuts in to the cookie dough if you are going to use the peanuts. Follow the directions above for the cookie base. Press into a 13X9 pan. Mix the sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter in a small bowl until smooth. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the base. Crumble the remaining cookie dough over the top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool. cut into bars. Store both of these at room temperature.

Do you guys remember the chocolate condensed milk? It was only on the market for a short time. I guess it didn't go over well. Melting the chocolate chips with the regular condensed milk gives the same thing but is an extra step.
