I sure am enjoying the gifts from VBB.  The coupons are so welcome & the apron was a delightful surprise.

It must have cost Nestle quite a lot to mail all those packages to us.  I guess they can use it in their advertising budget.
I used my cookie dough coupon and noticed it was up to $4.29.  In my stores the dough was $2.75 or $2.99.  I have never bought cookie dough before but will try it in the next couple days.  Even though the coupon is good for a year, I figured if I didn't use it now it would get lost and I'd miss out.

I have 2 great recipes for you to try.
Fudge-Filled Bars
1 Can (14 ounce size) Sweetened Condensed milk
1 package, 12 ounces of semi sweet Chocolate chips
2 Tb butter
2 tsp vanilla
2 packages, 18 ounces cookie dough, any flavor
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
In a heavy sauce pan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate cips and butter; heat until the chips melt. Add vanilla.  Cool 15 minutes.
Using floured hands press 1 1/2 packages of cookie dough into ungreased 15X10 jelly roll pan.  Pour cooled chocolate mixture over the top.  Crumble the remaining dough over the top of the chocolate mixture.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.  Cool. Cut into bars.

This is adapted from  one that uses a cake mix  as a base.

Buckeye Bars
2 packages of Cookie dough

1 Cup chopped peanuts, if desired.
1 Can, 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
1/2 Cup peanut butter
Mix the peanuts in to the cookie dough if you are going to use the peanuts.
Follow the directions above for the cookie base.  Press into a 13X9 pan.
Mix the  sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter in a small bowl until smooth.
Spread the peanut butter mixture over the base.  Crumble the remaining cookie dough over the top.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set.  Cool.  cut into bars.

Store both of these at room temperature.

I didn't use my coupons either.  I have so many sweets here that I want to wait until April to use them.

AnnMarie -- I hope I can find one at my local WalMart.  If they don't have one in their regular selection of pots and pans I'll have to look in the fancy, expensive Wilton (is that the name I mean?) stuff.  I try to never walk near that  .... I get carried away.

My jelly roll pans came from WalMart. Just look under the cookie sheet section. They were stocked there. Also, do you have a Big Lotts, Dollar General, Dollar Tree or Family Dollar Store? They have them sometimes.

Nancy,
Wilton pans outlast the cheaper pans, I use to put Wilton on my wish list for Christmas, birthday & mother's day. I have some Wilton pans that are about 38 yr. old & in great shape. The fancy molds are more, but the normal pans go on sale. You can google Wilton & get an idea of the price & if you find it on sale, Walmart should match the price.  I bought 2 Wilton pans in Jan. that were on sale 1/2 off. I will give the butterfly cake pan as a gift & I do not know if I will keep or give as a gift the daisy pan.  I have bought so many 9 by 13 pans, that the next time Wilton has their's on sale, I will buy one.

One  of my 9x13 pans is a Wilton .... I bought that on an impulse at WalMart,,,,,,,   lol - it's so clean, shiny and straight that I never use it!  I just keep using the old, banged-up ones.
And ages ago I splurged on a Wilton mini cupcake pan ........ I never use it either.  Embarassed

If I would get a Wilton jelly roll pan I would probably never use it !!

And it never entered my mind to look at Dollar General, Dollar Tree or Family Dollar Stores for cooking pans!!  I am astonished to learn they sell them.   I am desperate for some light-weight, FLAT cookie sheets.  I can't find those anywhere - even eBay or that super-nice flour catalog I've been receiving.

Mary:

Oh no!  We apologize for the mix up and certainly didn't intend to make you run to the store.

Hi Nancy,do you have a GFS near you,I buy restaurant quality cookie sheets there and they are only around six dollars for a half sheet size they might have jelly roll pans. The same pans from Pampered Chef are fifteen dollars. These pans are heavy and will not buckle.
