While gardening this afternoon, I found a tomato growing on one of my plants, and the potatoes are pushing through the surface!

I have a "plant" question that maybe someone can answer.  I have wondered about this for a very long time.
Why is it when you mow the lawn the dandelions and other weeds grow 4 or 5 inches over night?.....

My tomatoes are doing very well.  I plan to use the "Miracle Grow" on them this weekend. Some of the plants are already at the top of the wire tomato baskets.   Most of the herbs are growing very well, except the basil which seems to have attracted something that wants to eat it.  My husband took care of that though.

Nikki, sometimes those pesky things just "lay" down when the lawnmower comes by.  I think that's what ours do since the very next day, there they are again lol.
