In Response to Re: How does your garden grow?:
Even with all the rain we have had the pepper plants are still about the same size as when I planted them almost a month ago. The leaves are all brown and seem to be drying up just like last year(even though we didn't have much rain last year). The tomato plants are getting bigger every day and are full of small green tomatoes. Maybe by the end of July we might have some ripe ones lol. Unfortunately, the rabbits got into the garden and ate most of my lettuce. You would think they had enough to eat with all the grass they are constantly munching on. Hopefully the electronic thing I have out there will keep them away now.

If you are in the Northwest 'burbs of Chicago the problem may be a bit too much rain. The roots may be water logged and not getting enough oxygen.
I think the same thing is happening with 2 pots of Rosemary that I have on my back porch. I have tried to dry them out as much as possible but I may loose both pots.
My hydrangea are loving this though, and the hostas seem very happy.
