Woke up to the first snow of the season. It was only about an inch, but it helps to put one in the mood for the holidays.

Hi Fran it's snowing here right now.I love when it snows. At night I love to see it glisten in the moonlight. One night we were coming home from somewhere and there were two deers standing in front of a small church, snow on the ground and the moon was big and bright shing down.It looked like a beautiful Christmas Card.I will never forget that sight as long as I live.

We had some snow this morning too.  Thankfully, it stuck to the grass, but not the cement so I didn't have to shovel and it wasn't a problem driving.  It was a heavy wet snow and it was sticking to all of the trees.  It looked beautiful.

I'm with you Nancy!  I hate Winter and all that it brings with it!  I start in September stocking the food pantry, and when the snow flies, I close the blinds, grab my blankie, and hibernate.  I leave the house for Church, and when I'm out, I get eggs and milk, and I am happy that I don't have to go out every day!!

I miss snow. We are from upstate NY and now live in south eastern NC. Rarely do we see the white stuff. It's hard to be all Christmas-y with out it.  Frown

I could never get into the Christmas spirit if I lived in a place like AZ desert where it isn't cold or doesn't have snow.  We have a chance of snow on Saturday.  We'll see what happens.
