Difficult to say...but in general if it has chocolate, peanut butter, a combination of the two or is bad for you I like it.

LOL LOL "is bad for you" LOL LOL.  Me too.
I wonder so much why all the good tasting food isn't good for you.
I wonder why I'm not thinking of a new, tasty way to combine brussle sprouts and carrots.

I sometimes think that it's too bad we were given taste buds at all. If we didn't taste yummy then we would be "eating to live" instead of "living and eating." Am I a joy killer or what?  Smile  I'm guilty of loving almost everything to eat! I don't eat anything that comes from the water or brussle sprouts and anything that smells like it died (such as quite often my daughter's cooking!)

hee hee Vicki - I've always said, "I don't eat anything that's been wet".   And I think sea food smells like it died.  I sure don't like brussel sprouts but I'd eat them instead of shrimp!

I have been thinking about favorite foods for the last two days.
I just have too many favorite foods to narrow it down to one.

I don't know what's up with my craving lately! I have been eating frozen meatballs for several weeks now! Microwave them & then smother them with mustard. Just now had some for breakfast!

Nancy and Vicki I have always  hated Brussels Sprouts and that is odd because I do love cabbage.  Anyway I tried them again after seeing them cooked on a show.
Split them in half, drizzle with a bit of olive oil sprinkle with coarse salt.
Roast in a hot oven turning once in a while so they get a bit browned.
While they are cooking fry a bit of bacon, crumble and set aside.
When Brussels Sprouts are tender remove from oven to serving bowl.
Sprinkle with bacon.
Serve to guests.....while you eat the bacon. ;)
No really they do taste better this way I would not say they will replace most vegetables that I make but they are much better this way rather than boiling them.  Bonus the house does not get that cabbage smell that happens with the sprouts.

My oldest son requested Brussels Sprouts for our Christmas meal. I roasted them in the oven with olive oil and salt, as you did Nikki. I also added a tablespoon of fresh rosemary before roasting. During the last 5 minutes of cooking, I added some pine nuts. Right before serving I sprinkled some grated Parmesan cheese on top of the sprouts in the serving bowl. Even my husband enjoyed these, and he was not a fan of Brussels sprouts.

I think it is a matter of how things are presented the first time you eat them.
I grew up thinking eggplant was horrible.  That's because my Dad said it was horrible.  I was in High school when I first tasted Eggplant Parmesan. Well I thought it was great and from then on I would try eggplant dishes.
My friend's kids will eat all sorts of things that their classmates won't touch. But these are things that they have had since they were young.
Presented the right way I would try almost anything.
I think it is fun trying new things.
As another friend always told her child.    "One taste, no face"  No matter what was being served she had to try one bite.
