Packing a little this morning.I'm not going anywhere today the roads are bad.My son had an accident on Monday and did about $5000 worth of damage to our truck. It was in great shape for a ten year old truck but now it's not.My son is so upset about it and I'm not I'm so happy he wasn't hurt.He hit a patch of ice and it started spinning out of control until the back end went into a cement wall and it stopped.Thank God he wasn't hurt just shook up.It's only a truck and that can always be replaced.

Today turned out to be one of those "DUDS".  I woke up with digestive distress, so I couldn't walk.  My hair dresser called to say she was sick, so no hair appointment.  I'm  waiting for my cleaning lady to come now.  Hopefully that will be OK.

Yikes!! Gale, So glad that your son is ok!! That had to be really scary.
You are right, trucks can always be replaced. I wish that winter was
over. Some of the states are really getting a lot of snow and ice. So
glad I live in CA. We have rain today and there have been hundreds
of accidents so far. People out here do not know how to drive in the
rain.

Thanks, my son is OK but feels real bad about my hubby's truck, that was his baby. It has over 140,000 miles on it but was in great shape so now my son feels so bad about the way it looks I told him not to worry about it it now has "CHARACTER" Nothing last forever especially vehicles and not in this area of the country.

This morning we will go out for breakfast and hit the farmer's market briefly and run some errands.  Latter hubby will watch Ohio State basketball and I may do some shopping.

I'm feeling fine today, just a bump in the road yesterday.  Today, I started off with a 40 minute workout on my stationary bike.  Then  had to clean up the edges of the oven, so I can put the thing on "self clean".  Now, the computer, clear e-mail, check Facebook( my grandson is in Utah at the Sundance Film Festival, and sends back reviews on all the films he sees) check VBB, and then back to work on my cross stitch until time to fix lunch.

As far as my grandson's adventure at Sundance, he is a student at Chapman University majoring in screen writing in their school of film and video arts.  The trip to Sundance is a 3 unit class.  I keep wondering why they didn't have classes like that when I was in college???

i'm a day late on friday's plans because i think i had some kind of short virus fri evening         i came very close to passing out  and since i'm 69  i made myself   call my cleaning lady  who came  in less than 5 min     it was like almost heat stroke  i had turned the ac off so i could take a shower  and let the house get too warm     of course she called my sis who came by w/ 2 grands    and also called my son
after the a/c was turned back on  and i lay down on th bed with  my ceiling fan at full blast     i did get bettter

but didn't get the shelf installed that we had purchased earlier for my laundry room

but that did happen yesterday   and my laundry room looks larger(?) and cleaner

today i'm heading back to kroger to pick-up 2 more of those 99 cent butts     i cooked one yesterday
and it came out very good
i have already ridden my stationary bike for 10 min this morning  (i only do 10 mins at a time and it has worked out well)       i usually get in at least 40 mins  a day

Just a little cooking today maybe I'll bake something if I can talk myself into it.More packing today.Yesterday the kids came over and we worked a few hours on packing. They were bringing things down for me to get rid of or pack.We made three piles. One throw aways, one keep and one donate to the church for their rummage sale.It seems my donate pile was the biggest of all.Somethings we haven't used in years so now is a good time to get rid of them.My hubby had hundreds of magazines saved so those went into the paper recycling bin up at church.I have mixed feelings about this move.It will be nice to start all over but the at the same time sad leaving our home of over 30 years and the most wonderful street and neighbors in the world.

Sweeping out the inclosed back porch. Potting some plants. Raking the front yard really hard to pull up the dead grass from winter and that lets the new growth come through. The feeling is Springtime with all the green grass and leaves coming out on the trees.
