In Nebraska they are $3.50 I know that some states have different kinds also. Our bakers are
ABC Bakers we use to have Little Brownie bakers.

Staying home to nurse my sciatic nerve-again! Bent over to scrub toilet and there the stupid nerve went! I hate being still. I have too much energy for that! Being still is the only way I have ever had it stop hurting.

But the colors! How are you going to choose? The silver is pretty, but I love the textured dark gray one. But white is classic. Then the rainbow of color..Flamingo pink, teal, cobalt blue....Have fun!

I'm going to have to conservative on the color because this one will go to the son I'm living with.Probably will go with the silver or white.i don't think he would go for pink! lol lol lol ! Blue,Green or Red would be Ok too.

make bed; prepare groceryhopping list & get it redy to print out.
Bae 24 fudgebrownie ie bites; portion controlled which does no good when heeats mostof them in 2 sittings or walking around .."They're so good he cannot be blamed
Another 2 more loads of laundry
(messy eaters & a sloppy cook I spilled oil on my kichen floor & spent an hour mopping upthe mess then I washed all the oily rags

JULIE; my HAIR STYLIST stopped by w/a W/APROFESSIONAL Hair therapy condioner & had t rush off w/o her r light beer or hot coffee; too many other nearby chores to stop long enogh to try a browne bite & cuppa hot coffee

We bought our new furniture today.couch and love seat.2 queen size beds,box springs and matresses and an entertainment center.We're almost done.I'm really tired.

since we are on the tail end of thet storm coming through the mid-west and expecting (maybe) some really extreme weather conditions, i made plans to just stay in had my shower early in case we lost elec.then my son called and the g.s. has another emer problem w/ braces and has to be at orthodontist office before 10:45 because the dr will not be back in the office until monday

he is 95% done the dr said that most dr.'s would have already been done, but he's now in "hollywood mode" to perfect a small over-bite and we agree w/ him to finish it
but the appliances are strong and he's wearing bands 24/7 and they can break down
so i've called the school to release him at 10 so that i won't have to go in to pick him up
and if the weather is ugly there are about 20-30 restaurants we can run into and wait it out

Going to the doctor because he "makes" me come in once in a while-I hate going to the doctor, dentist or eye doctor. Not sure why but my mom says that I had scarlet fever when small and maybe that sticks in my head. Anyway, going for an appointment which means I'll still be sitting there waiting for a couple of hours. The chairs there are too tall for me and my feet don't reach the floor which makes my legs go into a cramp in front of everyone but all chairs are too tall. I'm 4' 7."

I thought today might be a "resting" day, but of course that didn't happen. Will be on our way out the door very shortly to go get a catscan. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be better but not holding my breath on that one since we're supposed to get a lot of snow tonight and tomorrow.

I have grocery shopping to do. While we are shopping, my husband will order a sandwich from the deli for our lunch. After lunch I have to run over to the lab for my monthly blood test. I like to go around noon, as it isn't as busy then. My husband will pick up our granddaughter at 2:30 and bring her home from school. Yesterday she had girl's chorus after school, but today it is just homework. Her mother and sister get home on Saturday, and her dad is off snowboarding in Canada. We love having her, but I think I am getting too old for this.

The rest of the story is: last night about 1 hour before our granddaughter was to go to bed, she suddenly remembered that Friday is "Super Hero Day" at school. She had a cape at her home, but that wasn't going to help us here. Grand Pa saved the day. He found a blue sheet in the garage that he was saving to use as a drop cloth for painting. Between the two of them, they "fashioned" a cape out of the sheet, and she printed a "Superman" "S" on the computer which they fastened to the cape back. Yes, it was a blue cape instead of a red, but she was happy. Oh, and I was starting to fall asleep while this was going on. That's why I said I'm getting too old for this!!!

We went to Church this morning and out to breakfast with our "Breakfast Bunch". Nothing planned for the rest of the day. It is cloudy, dark, and dismal, (not to mention COLD), to we'll just vegetate in front of the TV for the rest of the day.

I planned to mke a special noontime meal to thank hubby for oopenning cans & heating soup fr days whilI hdtime off to recover from an infection after my Octber surgery.It tok 3 different antibiotics o improve things & only tofday am I up t making a meal worthy of him.I've been baking brownies& chocolatechip cookies as needed, for awhile
I did a few loads of laundry & cleaned up after my effort at noon time
I spent time nVBB tryng to catch up after week of not posting.
Hubby made dinner & cleaned up ( BOLONEY& CHEESE SANDWICH FOR HIMSELF& OATMEAL FOR ME) I'm afraid I overate the WONDERFULL MEAL @ NOON & couldn't face anything more than oatmeal for me

I'm going to haul out my hand-me-down sewing machine from my mom. It's a really old Singer from way back. I don't like to sew much but I save up mending to do and shortening of my pants. Apparently the industry thinks that "petite" is all over 5 feet. I'm 4 foot 7 inches so I figure that I cut off about $5.00 dollars worth every time.

Nellie, I hate to shop for clothes only because I have to hem all shirts and pants. The other part of me loves to shop! I wear a wide shoe also because of my bunions on the side. I only wear shoes made by New Balance because they make sizes for wide feet and the arches are always good. And because I can put their shoes on and they are instantly comfortable.
