I WAS GOING NUTS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING I MISPLACED. MY GLASSES, I HAVE TO TAKE OFF TO SEE CLOSEUP.I'AM RUNNING ALL OVER THE PLACE, I HAD TO DRIVE TO THE BUS STOP FOR MY SON. MY OLDEST SON IS CLEANING OUT HIS CLOSET. HE LOOKS UP AT ME AS I'AM RUSHING BY HIS ROOM FOR AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES.HE ASKED ME WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. DO I NDEED HELP? I SIGHED DEEPLY AND SAID MY GLASSES.HE GASP , LAUGHS." NEXT TIME CHECK YOUR FACE". I TOUCHED MY FACE. I COULD NOT HELP BUT LAUGH. YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE LEARNED , MY MOM USE TO DO THE SAME THING. SO I LEARNED A LESSON, CHECK FACE FIRST.
ANYONE EVER LOSE SOMETHING? MISPLACED SOMETHING. DID YOU EVER HIDE SOMETHING AND FORGET WHERE YOU HID IT?

HUH.......JUST HAVE TO LAUGH....GOT MY EXCERCISE RUNNING AROUND

LOL, Julie!! I do it ALL the time!! Either misplace something or go into a room to get something and by the time I get there...I forgot what I went for!! So I walk back and forth from to the other room....hoping I will eventually remember what I went for. Most times it works but not always! But as you say.....good exercise walking back and forth!
Worse than that though is seeing someone you've known for years and all of a sudden, your mind goes blank and you can't remember the person's name!! Oh my, that is embarrassing!

I have a habit of buying Christmas presents or birthday gifts early. When I bring them home I have to find a hiding place for them and sometimes the hiding place is so good even I can't find them LOL. Usually I will find them after the event, and buying something else, and then have to figure out what to do with them.

I think we all ldo that.Hubby often has his on top of his head( for wiping of fhis face) ...Icannot see much w/o mine on so it's pretty obvioswhen they are not on me or are on me. Ibought my Nana a "glasses leash" to keep hers around her neckwhen she momtarily did not need them on her face. I got one for hubby too.......Inexpensive & solve that problem

H.M., Been there, done that!! I quite often buy Christmas gifts for the following year when they are having the after-Christmas sales. After hiding things in different places and not finding them, I now have some big plastic totes I bought to keep the gifts in. I put them on my closet shelf and put gifts in them throughout the year as I buy them. However, I've got to admit that a few times I've not put them right into the totes and then find them later where I had put them!

A friend of mine told me when you can remember where you put something "pray to St.Anthony" It's always works for her.You just have to remember to pray .

Huh...I think I have you all beat.Being a teacher with 28-35 kids in a class,things disappear. All trying to mess with the teacher.I have one entire class of clowns.Wow, you have no idea.I'am lucky I still have all my hair and it is not gray. i really do not mind most of the time.There is a time and a place to mess with the teacher.Just do not touch my coffee mug.

LOL have done that Julie, been on top of my head and on my face. Tis embarassing as you stated. Have looked for my keys and they were in my hands. Have put the salt in the refrigerator and have found refrigerator items in the cabinets.

Sharon, I don't feel so crazy now! Not too long ago, I went to put the jug of milk away.....in the cupboard!!! All of a sudden, it dawned on me what I was doing!!

Preston, that's good.....teaching kids and still have all your hair and it's not yet gray! What ages of kids do you teach?

i do that a lot lost me cell phone couldn't find it ? so i called it from house phone and when it rang i saw it sitting on the counter on my book . i feel like a fool sometimes as things are in plane site

Oh my heavens yes!!!.. Almost every day I walk out to the garage refrigerator to get something, and then once I'm there I forget what I came for. Also, a couple of years ago I hid my social security card while we were on vacation. We returned and I did not remember where I put it. I tore the house up at least 7 times and couldn't find it. I finally gave up and went to the trouble of getting a new one. About a month later after the new one had come, I found the original one. Oh Well, I have two now!!!

My Mom used to tell me about hiding money and then not finding it. She decided to put it under "G" and she said "G" is for gardening. I never did understand the logic in that!

Maxine, if that isn't surely the truth! I've spent nearly two hours this morning looking for a little tablet I had addresses and notes in. I finally just found it.....but....wouldn't you know it? The address I thought I wrote in there isn't there! So now the last place I can think of to look is my purse....guess it's time it needs a cleaning out anyway!!
Now.....if I could just find my mind.....I'd be doing great!!!
