Have you ever encountered a celebrity of any kind?  Being born and raised in Southern California, it was not unusual to see a celebrity from time to time.  However, there are 3 stories that

I don't remember, but my parents have a picture of me being held and kissed by Poncho & Cisco.  My Mother said they came over to the side of the crowd and asked if they could hold me cause I was so sweet and cute. ( I am neither Now LOL)  I'm a crab and UGLY!

I really don't think this counts, but I once met Chuck Norris at a book signing.

Other than that, the closest I've come to encountering a "celebrity" was when I was stopped at a red light and looked over to see the local weatherman in the truck next to me.

Saw Mickey Dolenz & Joey Fatone at the same play - my sister-in-law, like others bombarded them.  I felt bad because they had to leave during intermission once they were seen.

Dick Cavett after a play but he ignored everyone like he was royalty.

September my husband & I in Home Depot, turn the corner & smash shopping carts with American Chopper Paul Teutel Sr.  My husband helped him with a few plumbing pointers but no autograph (I got one from him previously).

April my sister-in-law & I saw Barry Williams & Ron Palillo after a comedy show.  Their agents said no signing so we got pictures.

In NY, I read this star was here, this one at there.  I never see them "strolling" or just passing in the street.

My feeling is that if they're in a personal setting/fit in normally, I leave them alone - they've got enough going on.

Have never met any celebrities, only normal people around here and even when we traveled.

Nice stories from all of you who met celebs.
