Sorry, can't help with the electric grill.  My husband will not give up his weber charcoal grill for anybody lol.  But since I didn't like the starter fluid thing I went and bought a charcoal chimney.  You just pour in the charcoal, fill the bottom of the chimney with some crumpled newspaper and light.  Works great and no funky smell from lighter fluid on the food.

Wa-Ha L -- I can't find directions on how to cook bacon on the grill.  Any suggestions? I have no idea if I should go ahead and put it on the grill BEFORE heating it or wait. I had to cook two pounds (!!) for the broccoli salad I'm taking to church dinner today.

Let it heat up first. Then just lay them from left side to right across the ridges starting at the back and down to front. Let cook a couple of minutes, flip and cook until it is the way you like it. I have found that the back strips cook fastest so, I simply remove them and push the others toward the back and add new strips to the front. I always let my grill heat before putting anything on it.  When cooking large quantities of bacon, make sure you have both of the grease catchers out and a small, clean jar if you wish to save the grease. You will be amazed at the quantity a lb of bacon gives off.

Weber makes a small charcoal grill that is for one or two people and I believe it is called a tailgater but no sure.

I noticed some use the charcoal chimneys to start their fires. I like those but, they are not safe in windy conditions and also, you have to be really careful picking them up and pouring the charcoal into the grill. Some embers and small pieces of hot coals can fall thru the bottom onto your feet!  I had a pair of shoes with a huge spot burned thru them from that. And my foot!!!

Nancy,  I got my husband a Weber charcoal grill in the mid 90's and it is still going strong. We use ours
for camping and sometimes quick meals at home. You can use charcoal and different kinds of wood in it.
We like mesquiete (spelling error) wood the best. You can get it at Walmart. We love McCormick Montreal
Steak Seasoning for steak and pork chops. My mouth is watering for a good ribeye steak right now but it is
11:29p.m. and I sould be going to bed soon.

Thanks for all the information and help ..... Today is the 26th.......... lol lol ..... in 4 or 5 days I'll have the money to buy a grill.

Here, in my little condo,  the woman to the north of me has a very big, very lovely electric BBQ grill on her deck.
The couple to the south of me has a very big, very lovely gas BBQ grill on their deck.
I'm going to get a little Weber........

Nancy,  Your food is going to taste a lot better with the little weber than on a electric or gas
grill. Enjoy!!!

Nancy,   Hubby told me to tell you when you get your weber to smother your fire with the cover to save your
charcoal or wood for the next time that you cook!!!   He loves to reuse the charcoal and it really works.
