In Response to Re: DOING KOOL-AID EGG DYE : Vicki, I can't believe that there is no work for a caregiver. I would think that is a job that is in high demand. Has she tried going to Dr. offices and senior centers and churches to post notices? Has she tried posting a notice in the paper or even Craig's List?

Hi Nikki! Yes, she's put out the word everywhere. All the places that hire caregivers, paper and everywhere stopping short of Craig's list on my request. There are so many crazy people out there and lately Craig's list has been on the news in not a good light. She's looking for anything and everything. Since I'm on disability for my bad back it's been tough and it's going to get tougher. I get a check once a month and with the rent... She's been out of work for 2 months and what we saved is gone. Today is April 1st and April Fools Day but I don't feel like playing any pranks today. We unfortunately live in a part of California that has a reputation as being a "depressed" area and worse a county that is the most famous for this out of most of the other counties. I don't know how a person can move or do what you need to do without any funds to do it. Probably a good source of sleeplessness is this, I guess. And the tighter that people get with their money the less they spend or they "make do" if they can. She's even looked at all the surrounding towns with no luck. They being, of course, in the same county as this one is quite large. Thank you for asking though. I haven't had any sleep since I left the little ones and the Easter eggs. Uggg. I live across the street from a funeral parlor and the casket truck is making a delivery. Depressing.
