I am ready to set them ahead but I wish they would just leave it alone.
I don't care which way.

Hard to believe that it is time to "spring ahead" already.  We have been hit with another snow storm today so it is hard to believe that spring is around the corner.  Thanks for the reminder.  I probably would have forgotten otherwise.

I agree with Sara .... I'm ready to spend an hour (at least!!) changing the 2 dozen clocks here but, gee, I wish we didn't have to do that.

I dread the havoc this will be for my husband.  Had a difficult time in the Fall when the time changed then.
With luck he will not be getting up at 2 or 3 am  or worse at 10pm like he did in the fall.

OH, remember when you change your clocks...change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The official time change is 2 am on Sunday morning Nancy.  We usually change our clocks before going to bed on Saturday night.

Thanks .... I'll start struggling with mine - and the malicious smoke detectors - tomorrow afternoon.

Nancy on Saturday evening before you turn in set the clocks ahead.  Remember spring--Ahead.  Fall---Back.

Changing clocks is my husband's chore!  He usually starts early, changing watches, car clocks, and then gets serious with all the other clocks we have.  He says that spinging forward is easier than falling back!  I'm just glad he does it.

hee hee ....... Barbara, when I try to swing forward one hour I always go forward more than one simple hour so I have to keep re-doing over and over.
And I just hate doing the smoke detectors .... that's such a difficult job for me.

We change ours Sat night before bed. I am a morning person, so I'll be getting up in the dark and not looking forward to that.
I am glad that the days are getting longer and I love spring

Quite often I will "live" most of Saturday on the hour ahead or hour behind time if I do not have appointments.  That sort of gets me acclimated to the time.  I usually don't have much of a problem adjusting.
I don't have much of a problem although I dread the next few days with the havoc that it will be for my husband. Have no idea if he will be getting up at 10pm, 3am, 4am or will he sleep until 7 or 8 in the morning?  Went through this in the fall he was getting up at all hours taking a shower and having breakfast anywhere from 10 at night to 4 in the morning.

Daylight savings time is just playing tricks on ourselves.  It adds no more time to a day! simply switches when we see sunlight to give us longer evening light and making us get up in the dark!  I for one have a difficult time re-adjusting my body clock.  I do not like to get up before sunrise.  Makes me grumpy for several days.  Even extra coffee is of little help.  Hubby claims to like it.  If I could train him to make breakfast maybe I would be less grumpy.  LOL
