THANXJULIE;I tinkI'm nearly back to health; no more coughing.breathing easily again & lots
more energy.Hubby made sure Ig t lots of bed or recliner rest;hot liquids & extra blankets. He too was sick during this time.we both "ran aroud" trying to make sure the other one got extra rest. Hubby is stil easily tired;going to bedearlier.But he's stil going to work each day[3 hours only]; is still feeding the cats @ 6AM @ noon & 5PM. i can do thatbutheenjysbeing "their hero"
He naps on the couch as needed;drinks plenty of hot tea. Right now we are both glad we no longer have a dog.He would have to go out in the wind &rain for
" walkies".The kitties walk/ toilet themselves. we have 2 litter boxes & we each take care of one.
We never had an elevated temperature & dr thought it nothing to worry about if we were sensible( stay warm. drink lot sof liquids& get extra rest) Response to Re: CURIOUS!!!!! WHAT DO YOU DO FOR THANKSGIVING?:

There is a lot of stomach virus going around at our school! People are losing 5 pounds before they are better. That is NOT how I want to lose weight!!!!

We will watch the Macy's parade, in between football games. I also love the dog show that comes on after the parade. This year my daughter and her family will come over for dinner. My son in law is the cook in their family and he is bringing appetizers and a salad. I will do the rest. My son's family has out of town guests, so their celebration will be with them.

Ann I hope you feel100% before Thanksgiving.Thank goodness we are going to a restaurant for Thanksgiving.I fell and broke my tailbone and I'm in too much pain to cook anything that takes a lot of work.We are having our weekly family meal on Sunday with my son and daughter in law,so my other son said he will help me make the meal,I said great this will be a cooking lesson for you,he was all smiles.Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving and God bless you all.

We are traveling to Kentucky to visit our kids. On Thanksgiving Day we will go to our son-in-laws Mother's for dinner. It will be a large gathering. That way we get to see both sides of the family.

Oh my, Gale! I'm praying you heal up quickly. That does sound painful. I've never broken mine, but have fallen on it and I know how painful that was. Take it easy and hope you enjoy a nice family dinner on Sunday!
Ann, I do hope you were feeling a hundred percent better today, too, for Thanksgiving.

Just got home here......we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at one of my younger sisters.....turkey, biscuits & gravy, stuffing, corn, carrots, cranberries, zucchini bread, chocolate fruit bread (one of MY favs), fruit salad (which we provided), and pies for dessert.....pumpkin, apple, and chocolate. Had so much food I probably forgot to mention something! But it was all delicious!!! And best of all was spending the day together!
Hoping everyone else enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with loved ones as well!
