Last night we went to see "Chicago" at the University theater.  I don't usually care for musicals but this was great.  All the people had lovely singing voices and each word was enunciated p

A few years ago we went to an outdoor concert at the university. lt was The Beach Boys!  I loved it.  Of course it was more like the beach "geezers" at this  point, but they were really good.  Because it was outside, it wasn't too loud.

Nikki,  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband!! My brother-in-law's
dad has been going thru this for several years now. He and his sister would each take
1 day a week and spend the whole day with him.  That way their stepmother would get
a break. The dad is almost 90 now and in a nursing home.  I hope that you have someone
to help you get a break.  You look tiny in your picture, so it must be really hard to
handle someone that tall. I'm praying that God will give you the strength to handle
this.  God Bless You!

In Response to Re: Cultural activities:
In Response to Re: Cultural activities : Nikki, I am so sorry to hear about your husband.  I don't think it will be too long before I won't be able to leave my husband alone for any long periods of time, either.  :(  That said, I love the Woodstock opera house.  I actually got to perform in "Mame" there a number of years ago.  I had played the role of Vera in another production, and when their Vera had an family emergency out of state during their run, they called me in to take her place.  Nothing like learning a whole different set of directions in 12 hours!   I got to see TSO a couple of years ago in Milwaukee - I have loved them for years.  Lucky you! Anyway, thinking of you and sending prayers your way this morning.  Take care!
