Gas here is $3.29 a gallon and I think we are usually less than many parts of the country. What's yours? Are you making any changes in travel?

Here the cost has DROPPED to $3.71. Wow - such a big drop .... from $3.79 to $3.71.

We might have enough money to buy gas to go to work,if we are still lucky enough to have a job!!! Why in this day of technology are we so dependant on oil for our fuel? I think it is because the very wealthy all have their hands in the oil business!

$3.67.9 per gal. in mid Texas yesterday. I had to put gas in the car and husbands pickup. Mine had 1/4 tank and his had 3/4. Took $40.03 for his and $49.97 for mine. Our gas is more than our electric bill and weekly groceries combined. His pickup has a 38 gallon tank on it and I cannot see letting it get low again. We have gas tank locks on all the vehicles and a mean dog to guard them and a nice, bright flourescent light over them. Also have alarms set. I am beginning to wonder if we need to take turns patroling the premises with a rifle.

Hello, Is there anyone out there listening to us? We are finding it extremely difficult to survive and I can just imagine the young people with families who are out of work, my own son included. We are in a depression that is not stated as a depression and we are still sending money out of the country instead of paying down the debt and helping AMERICANS in need!!! Sorry, but I needed to vent. I feel better now. On my way to Church to pray for our country!

We can write or call our Congress woman or man and complain.My friend calls the White House very often to complain and voice her opinions.These problems just didn't start these were years in the making and are going to take years to correct and may never be solved.I whole heartedly agree that charity begins at home ! We have many homeless people and that includes children.If this continues most people will be homeless and the crime rate will sky rocket.I worry about my younger son being robbed at work.My oldest boy was robbed at his job at gun point.Thank God that he and the other guy working with him were not hurt.With the rising cost of gas everything else rises,except our pay checks.

Today I saw one station that had gas listed for 4.39. Most of the others were at 4.25 or 4.29. Getting really scary and the nutsos are talking 6.00 a gallon by summer. I wish they would just shut up and go away! Gas in Chicago is the highest in the country right now. Suppose I should be glad I don't live in the city anymore but at least they have buses which we don't. Getting out my walking shoes since I may have to hike the mile and a half to the nearest store lol
