Gas here is $3.29 a gallon and I think we are usually less than many parts of the country. What's yours? Are you making any changes in travel?

As gasoline rises so does the cost of living.

We are seeing increases in the cost of food and just about everything else since the gas prices have gone up.  They are about $4.25 or so a gallon here now.  California is hit hard as we have high taxes on gas and high demand.  However it is disgusting that the oil companies are announcing such large increases in profits.

I heard that here in Reading, PA that by Memorial Day, price of gas is to be $5.00 per gallon and this summer $6.00!  Between the price  increase in gas, health insurance and food, how are we to make it!!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE !!!

Today's LA Times newspaper said that the US oil companies are not increasing output, and continue to export most of their oil. How about a little help here at home!!!

I went to Rite-aid today and noticed the price was  $3.84 9/10ths.  Sure glad I only manage to use 1/3 tank every 2 MONTHS.  My doctor is 22 miles each way or I wouldn't be using that much. At least I get paid mileage to see him so not too bad. Hope the refineries start increasing production, they are operating at 74% now, but don't really expect much help there. Obama needs to open up more fields, start granting permits for the drilling and negotiate the oil royalties paid to the gov't with the product STAYING IN COUNTRY...  Sound like a good idea??  I wrote to my congressman but have heard nothing so I guess I will have to make an appointment to insist on hearing his answer.

I burn diesel in my volkswagon beetle.  It gets 54 miles to a gal of gas BUT diesel is $4.20 per gal up here in Hayward WI.  So I too have to think seriously about my trips to town.  Memorial weekend isn't even here yet!  SPOOKY!
