I enjoy collecting cookbooks and Mary Moos.
I use to collect Precious Moments Figurines,
salt & pepper shakers, cookie jars, and coffee cups.

This is just a small fraction of my collection of cookbooks,
which are displayed in my hutch in our dining room.
In another room, I have a bookcase filled with cookbooks.

My clock shelf with a collection of Mary Moos.

I have a lot of books.  I love gathering old cookbooks.  I always look for them at resale shops.

Cookie Jars, but I blame this on my Grandson.  Almost done with the collection as I have almost run out of cabinet space.

Unfortunately I seem to collect recipes.  It would appear I have enough to last several life times.  I used to collect all kinds of cookbooks, but
then limited them to bread ones.  I finally decided I had too many I never used and donated a bunch to the church fair.

Sara S I've never heard of anyone besides myself that was in love with the Doughboy! What items do you have? As a small kid I would get to my moms' magazines and cut out all the Doughboy things & sometimes she wasn't even done with it! OPPS! I don't collect him but I have always looked for him-Amazon.com & places.

Walking through the house today I realized that there is one other think that I seem very good at collecting.
Dust!
It's all over.
I have sort of let things go while I was unable to be real mobile around the house and now with my husband in a hospital 30 miles away I think the dust is here to stay for a bit. Not to mention while my foot was in a cast I was having some work done in the kitchen and a bathroom so I have drywall dust and grout dust mixed in.

So now that I have admitted that I have this dust problem I better get up and do something about it.
Isn't that the first step ......  admitting you have a problem.....

A friend of mine suggested that the companies that are offering the duct cleaning are actually removing a layer of insulation in the ducts that really helps keep the heat in the ducts.

o.k. so I'm getting older & I forgot that I collect night lights. All kinds of them. There's so many out there it's hard to choose sometimes. And my excuse is that I really use them! My house is small & sometimes that's enough to see to get what I need.
