Two days of nice but windy weather, then back to cold ice and snow.    Come on Spring.

Spring has arrived in AR.  Some times we seem to go directly from winter to summer.

I agree with you. I'm happy the 90's we had last week are gone and it's in the 60's today. Like to ease into the hot weather.

We have 87 today with tremendous wind.  They are giving a wind alert.  We always say "frail person alert" because if you are little and frail you are apt to get blown over.  At this time of year when we get really warm weather it is usually followed by something bad, like tornado, hail and wind enough to blow stuff away.

Judy - we went over 80 too ......... and the wind is absolutely incredible.  I wanted to open my windows w-i-d-e but couldn't because the wind was just too bad.  The cats love open windows and the wind doesn't seem to bother them a bit.

Had snow and sleet last night and tonight we are supposed to get more. One of my sons just emailed me.  He lives four hours away from NJ and he said he had snow, sleet and freezing rain on the way home from work tonight and tomorrow they are supposed to get 4 to 8 inches of SNOW!!!! Do you think spring is really going to come this year?

Ah spring!  Here in central IL it comes with a roller coaster of temps, each change ushered in by wind!!!  Today is warm and windy with the promise of thunderstorms and falling temps. Hang on to your hat!

I'm beginning to think that also that Punxy Phil lied. I know where he lives. I only live around 10 or 12 miles from the Punxy Library
