Instead of sitting here playing with this thing, I SHOULD be cleaning. My condo is a terrible mess and I'm a lazy slob. Any suggestions? What are you doing?

Made 2 batches of spiced nuts to take to TOPS on Wed. I have to weigh in and
the weight recorder's birthday is the day before mine, so I always take her a treat.
It pays to be nice to the weight recorder. lol lol Groceries and TOPS are on Wed.,
so the big day for cleaning will be Thurs. Yucky!

My house needs cleaning too Nancy. But I'm too tired today to even start on it tonight. After taking my Mom shopping, making dinner and doing dishes I'm too pooped to do anything else. Oh well, there's always tomorrow and it won't run away lol.

I keep hoping for some elves to show up and magically put everything where it belongs, mop the floor, do the dusting and all that good stuff.
So far, I haven't been able to get on the list for elves........oh well.....

I am lucky that I have a cleaning lady that comes every 2 weeks. However after we took down the Christmas tree there was the usual mess. I swept and got out the vacuum cleaner to push around. Now I know why I have a cleaning lady, that vacuum is really hard to push. I'm getting too old for this.

I worked on cleaning today. Tomorrow I have to go to the dr. for a PT for the coumadin. Still have a lot of cleaning to do; mostly going through papers to determine whether to keep them or toss them.

I had a cleaning lady when I was working away from home, but I can't justify it any longer. I did a 2-week MAJOR cleaning in October, so now I just keep the bathrooms clean, dust and vacuum. Makes cleaning day much more pleasant! And I always keep everything picked up, which makes the house look clean, whether it is or not. lol

Cleaning is my least favorite thing to do. The deal my sisters and I have about cleaning one thing each day and reporting to each other works pretty well. As long as one thing is done, even a tiny thing, it counts. Yesterday I did one shelf in my fridge, taking everything out, washing the shelf and returning it with stuff organized.

my cleaning lady came to me soon after hurricane ike and i asked her about helping me clean out everything-----------boxes of paperwork for me, my mom and a sister who had died -----------i had hers because she had huntington's disease and couldn't handle her bills and other responsibilites---------she agreed and spent many hours with me going thru every box and disposing of most of it------------in between her other cleaning jobs---also cleaning my walls, windows and floors-----she has been a life saver---------then she started coming every wk for half days because of her schedule------she cleans bathrooms, dusts and vacuums one wk--------and the kitchen the other wks--------------i pay her a monthly fee and she comes on her own time and it all gets done
my grandson comes every monday to help get garbage out-------------he also cleans out my fridge and freezer when needed---------he's 14 and he really does a good job------------i have paid his cell phone bill sinse he was 8----------but this time he wanted an android with all the extras--and we made a deal

I just did a major cleaning of my bathroom. It is so nice to walk in now that the miscellaneous stuff is gone from the counter top.
It is a pain to put stuff back where it should go because I have had to put a lock on the closet door in the bathroom. My husband was taking all sorts of pills and I had no idea what he was taking and when so now all the bottles are locked up but that means when I need to put away a lotion or nail polish I have to go get the key. So most of the stuff stays on the counter.
I guess the whole house is due. I will do one room at a time and go through stuff and toss out what I don't use or need. (By toss I mean I will donate what I can and recycle what I can). I figure one by one it shouldn't take long and I won't get over whelmed and stop midway. I guess I may have a mild form of un diagnosed Adult A.D.D.

I have now shamed myself into cleaning....So now that I have to get out the gloves and cleaning stuff. See ya later.......

My sentiments exactly, Nancy G. I sometimes hate the time I spend on this contraption; but then again, it keeps me out of trouble since I am just vegetating here in my own little space! The cleaning will be there tomorrow, and the tomorrow after tomorrow. Enjoy!!

you could buy a tool chest or other box that can take a small combination lock and place all the drugs in that

or even go back to hardware store and buy a door knob with a combination tumbler--------------no keys to look for

I hate cleaning. Husband is supposed to do most of it, because I can't handle the chemicals. But I had to develop a high tolerance for dirt. Oh well, like they say, tomorrow is another day.
