In Response to Re: Christmas ideas:
I'm actually digging out my recipes and buying the ingredients for Christmas baking. In November I will be sending a big care package to my Navy son' s former squadron. They got deployed 4 months early, after having just returned home the end of March...bummer for them and their families. My son ha s a new assign ment as an instructor and will be state-side for 2 years, so he' ll be home for Christmas for a change. But he asked me to make goodies for his friends who shipped out in August, and I can't refuse that request! So-o-o, yes , I'm thinking of Christmas already!

Verlee, please thank your son for me for his service. My husband and I appreciate our military so much and are very grateful to them. We often attend activities for the Wounded Warriors and Scents for Soldiers.
