I am LOVING Mondays.
My husband has been accepted into an Adult Day program so I get 2 days a week to get things done on my own or go see a movie.
Monday is one of the days he goes. Thursday is the other day.

I spent today, Monday, hosting and serving lunch to 16 tables of bridge players for a charity event. We made money, so it was a very good day!!!

exactly the way to make MONDAYS, tollerable; do something worthwhile or special to yourself.For me it's cooking something special; for huby itt was volunteering his time to a worthwhile cause.

That beagle looks just like our sons dog Shiloh.Mondays are kind of nice now hubby is off and usually so is my son..Nothing is more important to us now and always as sitting down to dinner together.I really enjoy when our other son and daughter in law can join us.When I was still working and the boys were still in school it was nothing but constant running so Mondays were dreaded.

Early this morning I was at church helping work on spring and Easter decoration plus making some plans for an August wedding. No time for blues ... lol .... but I did manage to work in a good nap when I got home.

I spend my Mondays in the art room of our elementary school helping the 3rd and 4th graders with art projects. Some of the projects come out so well and the kids are so excited with them that it really makes for a great day.

When I was working I worked nights as a Charge Nurse and I worked weekends when the kids were little and my
husband was home on weekends. I enjoyed Mondays cause my work was over till friday night. I worked 12 hour
shifts.

Mondays are great! In fact, EVERY DAY IS MONDAY FOR ME!! At my age, one cannot be picky, especially about days. Each day is a gift!!

If I didn't know it was Thursday I could swear it was a Monday or there's going to be a full moon tonight or something.Everything that could go wrong sure has today.I'm quitting doing anything else today and I think I'll just sit and watch some movies after hubby goes to work.You watch,the cable will go down lol lol lol ! Mondays are no different from any other day of the week. We are retired and don't go anywhere with my husband's health problem. I do go to Church on Sundays and I am a Eucharistic Minister and bring Communion home to him. (I am also a Lector.) We do go to the various doctor visits and I do all the grocery shopping, as long as I am feeling ok. I try to stay ahead with the shopping by stocking up, so if I am unable to go, we have plenty in the house to get by. If I need something, my son lives about 40 minutes away and he will pick up what we need. Sometimes I have to stop and think what day it actually is.
