Such a long list. Lots of good options.
Big thick burger with cheese, and type of cheese depends on mood at the time, is high on the list but adding the caramelized onions is a must. Adding sautéd mushrooms is good depending on the type of cheese used. Last choice would be any of the typical "fast food" burgers.
All of this said if I am going to consume the number of calories in a good burger I would much rather have them in the form of a Rib Eye Steak.
I have not had a fast food burger in over a year.
So my vote went for the steak. I do like a burger it just has to be really "worth it".

I love hamburgers with cheese! I could eat them every day. But that is not a good idea for my calorie intake.

I like a good lean juicey burger with onion, swiss cheese, Miracle Whip, relish, and ketchup. Also like a mushroom swiss burger.

Red Robin has a great choice of burgers.They are known for their un ending plate of fries. The burgers are very BIG so if you go be prepared for a huge list from which to choose.

I make my own, and we used to have a Fudruckers near that had VERY good burgers. That said, the absolute best burgers I have ever eaten are made in a small place in Soldotna AK. The are a specialty of the chef, and when he temporarily moved to another restauant, they took it off the menu. We learned you have to ask for it.

At home, I like them cooked out on the grill. I add all kinds of toppings. It depends on my mood as to what and how much.

When I eat out, I love a burger with cheese and bacon or mushroom and swiss.

Fudruckers does have very good burgers. Several by me have closed. But it is worth a drive. Red Robin also has very good burgers and when I had a burger the last time I think it was at Fudruckers. I like that you can put what you want on the burger.
