The main comment to all posts is EEEWWWW!!! I told my daughter that is home with the flu to look at these without thinking she's sick. ooppps! So she got me back by non too gently explaining to my that the Rocky Mountains have no oysters...oh.

Update. I now have made two other people sick. The neighbor and my daughters' boyfriend. Too bad it was on the phone-would have liked to see his face!

There is a bar about an hour west of me that every year as a fund raiser they have a Turkey Testicle Festival.  I have yet to get the gumption to go. I never thought thought of it before but I do wonder..I see chicken gizzards, chicken livers in the meat case at the store but I have never seen turkey "gonads" in a plastic tray in the meat case.
So it is not just bulls that give up their jewels so we can eat deep fried whatever.....

The one's we had were goat.Surprisingly they didn't taste like goat.My oldest boy was about 4 years old at the time.He told my hubby that he ate Ghost b-lls and he liked them.My husband said now what are you feeding this kid?.My son loved mussels until my hubby told him they scream when you eat them. After that he wouldn't even look at them.
