Right now the temp is a balmy -4 and sunny.  Wind chill brings it down a bit more.
Will be interesting this weekend, I understand there is a football game on that everybody will be watching. (I live in the Chicago area).  I worry about the people in the stands when it is this cold, a few beers and you don't even realize that you are getting frostbite.
I figure it will be the perfect day to go to the movies.

It is winter here in RI...again! No school and we're headed out to play in the fluffy white snow! we love it Smile

It was 4 below this morning, but with no wind it didn't feel that cold.  Snow is beautiful and road crews did a great job

Another snowy day in Taunton Ma. Yet another snow day for the kids.This the third one this month.We are suppose to get more on tuesday. If this continues they will be going to school until July.

On the other hand it is beautiful. It looks like you are in a snowglobe.until we have to shovel yuck.

stay warm everyone. Do not over do it shoveling all that white stuff.

Nikki, I live in the South Suburban area of Chicago and on my city temp this morning showed a high of 1 degree.  I'm so cold I have to wear my gloves to type!  LOL

That's a photo I got from a friend in North Dakota .... I think it's so funny.    They have a lot of snow and cold.

    About 8" of accumulated overnight snow   & 26''( the warmest yet, today;
Hubby made plans to go to the movies & a  light lunch out ....But once again., the snow plowing contrater buried te athways endings w/ 2' high & 5' wide piles of snow; making getting t the car or even out of the building; impossibleYellSweet hubby, heated up a can of New England clam chowduh & made some tuna  salad for the buns we already had in the house. Hepiledon jalepens 7 "it was  a  meal"Undecided
I brewed soe  hot tea & we chose essert s to cheer us up: mud  pie  or pecan roll;MAYBE TOMORROW????????????????????we'll get to the car; movies & food court??????

Laughing In the teens here in Michigan but i am one that would rather have winter then a hot muggy summer. I keep the temp around 67° during the day and 68° at night. I have a heated mattress pad.....hmmm the comforts of home. Thank you Jesus!Innocent

That is so cute! I wish i had the picture uploaded of my husband standing barefoot in the snow with his michigan tee shirt on. You know we hold either the outside of our left hand or the inside of our right hand to show our state with a mitten on or not....lol

Good grief!  It is snowing again.  As if the 8 inches from yesterday wasn't enough we're adding to it and more expected for tomorrow night and Sunday.  I think someone needs to turn off the snow machine.

Here in Va;ldosta, Ga we are having a cold snap.  There is no ice but just cold. The high for the day is in th high 50's or low 60's.  Winter is here!
