An easy 34 here this morning ... that giant storm moving in from the west is due tomorrow night and we're supposed to get pounded. Rats.
I sure hope that storm doesn't hit too hard.

LOL - It's now 47 at noon - the temp is supposed to keep rising and we're just going to have a little bit of snow on Sunday. That expected storm is going north.

Hi Carol .... I'm almost certain that if you click on the "Ignore Nancy G" at the bottom of this post, you will be free of me. My posts just won't show up for you. Everyone else can read them but you can't ... you'll never see them. I think all of my posts will disappear for you.
Now, if you want to correct this and read my brilliant words again ..... I have no idea.

I use Yahoo and I've set that to Ignore three people..... wow, it's a real God send. They don't get their email back but I never see it ... not even a hint that they ever sent me anything. .... they don't get it back or any notification that I've ignored them.

Gale, you must be just north of me .... the edge of that storm is hitting us tomorrow. We're going to have c-o-l-d temps, vicious wind but just and inch or three of snow. Supposed to hit right after midnight.

We actually got up to 34 degrees here today! Almost a heatwave!! We are supposed to have a storm come in late Sunday afternoon, early evening, I believe.

Gale - even two inchs of snow on the streets "might" stop me from driving and it's my turn to treat the kids at church tomorrow morning. I have my mint brownies wrapped and ready to go. And tomorrow night I'm supposed to do that "art" class for the kids at church. I haven't missed a service for almost a year :-(

Carol -- I was just playing with the Ignore thing ...... "she" hasn't missed a bit of posting about simple things - no offering of recipes or anything similar , but boy does she review recipes.

Ladies/Gents, if you hit the ignore button under someones post, the post will disappear and a thin, grey line will be there with the info in it that says "posts from "insert a name here" are hidden" and to the far right of the thin line will be "stop ignoring "insert a name".

Julie, I don't know what type of system you have but, I subscribe to a computer newsletter and yesterday, there was info in it that might help you if it will work. Hold down your Ctrl (control) key and while holding it, punch your + button a couple or more times. Your number pad has to be locked if you use it or you can use the plus sign above the equal sign. It enlarges the entire page for you. To get back to normal, hold the control and hit the minus sign until back where you want it.

It's 36* right now and raining,it will be a sheet of ice if the temp goes down,which it is going to.Then the snow will start.Nancy If you think you can't do it don't,I'm sure it would be more important to them for you to be Ok than try and go out and something happen.If you have to stay home, bake some more and be happy.They will understand.

Cold days = soups/stews/baking. Usually in the kitchen most/all day with a wonderful eating frenzy or freezing ending! Last 2 weeks have been brutally cold here in NY. Next two days of rain monsoons because of warm temps than back to cold & severely windy days aren't the days I'm looking forward too.
