Bitter cold here again today with high winds and gusts as it was snowing heavily once again! Funny because someone right over the hill from us said they weren't getting any snow at the same time we were getting hit with it!

Everyone here on the east coast of FL have been complaining since it has been soooooooo cold. We are experiencing 29 degrees in the AM, but it has risen to a hot 57. My husband says if it snows we have to move to the tip of FL. Only kidding, but the cold weather sure makes one wonder...

It's not SO cold here ... But everything is coated with thin ice. I went out to feed birds and it was awful .... that slick black ice. I'm so glad I do not have to leave the house today. I'm glad those birds are fed .... I don't think they could get through this ice for food.

Weather here is in the 40s we have very little snow now it will snow lightly for about 2 hrs then quit would like snow for Christmas day but I sure hope it stays away till my daugther gets here by car on the 22.

Well it has cooled off a little we were in the upper 60's today but we did have some early morning rain. But I did have to wear my sunglasses while driving this morning, cause the clouds had almost disappeared, but they are rolling back in. We are expecting some rain tomorrow, but we will see.

Weathermen are predicting that Sunday overnight into Monday, one foot of snow; some confusion( on my part how being inland will effect that...One professional guesser says( inland will have less; another guesses possibly more( snow) no wonder I'm confused.

~sigh~ Streets still ice covered and some parts of highway still bad. This morning was supposed to be the Christmas celebration with my breakfast group. And I have all those cookies made... bags for each person.
I'll take them Monday morning but it won't be the entire bunch.
lol -- oh well, it gives me time to bake MORE!!!!

Nancy, you sound like me.....have to make sure those birdies get fed! I go out to feed them first thing every morning. Love watching them as I sit here at my computer. Right now as I am looking out it is once again snowing pretty heavily. It had "paused" for awhile yesterday and this morning. At least it's not quite as windy as it was before.

Hi Renee & Harriet i am from western part of New York state
I do miss the bid amounts of snow. my family and i moved to
Orange Va from Lancaster New York in 1989 now i am married and live in Culpeper Va.
but i miss Lancaster New York and my family i have there still and all the Snow.

Bitter cold morning again here in New York, but not snowing at the moment....supposed to have more flurries today though. Our forecast is snow, snow, snow for the next week or more!! I'm just very grateful it is only coming a little a time and not a big four foot snowstorm like we had on Christmas Day back in 2002!!
