Happy New Year!!
The only reason they have not issued blame is because they have not thought of it yet.

Right now it's 66 in Hot springs, AR, with an expected highof 70.  What a New Year's Eve.  Of course tomorrow back to the 30's.

The snow here in northern New Jersey was piled high.  Beautiful but deadly.  Two people we know had heart attacks on Monday and passed away.  If you are shoveling, please remember to take it slow and take breaks.  Better if you can find some teenagers to shovel for you.

All the snow has melted.  Might be part of my problem...it's all in my basement!  Just hope I can get it all pumped out before it starts to freeze.  I have to get the hot water heater and furnace back on before it gets cold!

You want cold, come to Texas! It is 31º right now at 10:23pm and is supposed to get down to 24º by morning. That means I have to wait until after lunch when the temp climbs back into the upper 40's or low 50's to finish the laundry I started tonight. The drain freezes and dumps the entire load of water in the kitchen floor every time it gets that cold. I have learned to wait or go to the laundry up town.

In Sacramento, CA it is 42 degrees and raining outside. 60 degrees inside and the roof is leaking in the kitchen.  My 5 yr old Border collie/lab has a better track record than most local weather guys when it comes to predicting rain.  He will bring all of his stuffed toys into the house either the night before it rains or early the day that it rains.  He will bring them in, groom them and leaves them in front of the tv.
