i haven't been able to connect to vbb since wednesday  and as you all know i have never been able to post a shared recipe since the big change to the new and improved vbb

this morning i received an e-mail from msn about re-newing my connection before 3 17 or it would expire-----------since this is a part of my dsl pkg with verizon i called them to find out about this--------and talking about my problem with vbb--------------he was able to put me on a shared screen to try to diagnose my problem-----his efforts failed-------------------so he downloaded an apple safari browser----------and was able to connect me that way------------but i have to go to a whole other connection for that---------------i can't access from my homepage anymore
hopefully this inconvenience will allow me to do more here------why do so many browsers have trouble connecting with vbb

Hi Nellie --- it's good to see you again. With my enormous amount of computer knowledge - lol lol lol - I don't think your difficulty getting on to this page is your computer's fault.  Too many people have too much trouble.   It's this site's fault.

Carol L can't get here either.  I wonder how many people are "missing".

Nellie, I'm having a problem also.  I cannot enter this site the way I have been of late.  I have to use a different browser or surrender my private info the the server that was bringing me to this site.  I've gone from the Chrome serve back to Internet Explorer.  Perhaps it is your server that is giving you the problem.  Try either Internet Explorer or Foxfire.  This may help.

Nellie,  I have not been able to get on here for 3 days now. Just talked to Nestle
and it isn't anything on their end. I was using internet explorer and I had to use
Fire Fox to get on right now.  I don't like having to use Fire Fox, I want my
internet explorer. I also use MSN.  I just wish this wouldn't keep happening.
Good Luck Nellie!!  Thanks to Nancy I could finally call VBB on the 800 number.
I had emailed them 3 times and didn't get anything back from them.

my son is going to walmart this morning to get me a newer version of windows------------mine is XP-------------he's also bringing a jump drive so i can transfer my files easier and keep a back-up in case i ever get a virus again

also i was on hold for microsoft for 2 hrs and 33 mins ((speakerphone) yesterday til both my phones batteries were used up---------they never answered------------and they have terrible music-if they had answered i probably wouldn't have been able to understand them

Nellie,  Wow! They just kept you on hold!! Not a good thing!! I'm using fox fire
to get on this site. I have had the same thing in trying to understand what they
said. One time it was from India and another time it was Canada. I just tell them
to talk slower or make them repeat what they said. lol lol

I've not been able to get in either.  I'm on Foxfire right now and really don't like it.  I don't believe it is my computer because I couldn't get on at work either

Anybody else who is forced to use Foxfire get the little box message that says "the plug-in performed an illegal operation. You are strongly advised to restart foxfire?
If I click on OK, it crashes, so I just move it out of the way and go about what I was doing.

I'm having to use Foxfire again today.  The little shockwave flash message about the illegal operation is moved to the top out of my way. I know better than to click on the ok, because everything goes away if I do that.

I constantly have problems getting into the site.  I usually use Internet Explorer.  I've tried Firefox, etc. and when I can't get in with Internet Explorer, I can't get in with anything.  I know it has to be on their end, even if they say it is not.  It is funny that so many of us have problems getting in.

I was wondering if it was just me or what and was about to start a Post to see if anybody else was having problems.  But, after finding this Post I find that it's not just me.  Last week I started having trouble getting into VBB.  I get to work early so that I can do a few things on the Internet before work.  We have Windows 7 there and until last week I was able to get into VBB.  Now I can't.  I've had my iPad since before Thanksgiving and had no problem getting into VBB, until last week; now I get the message Cannot Open Page - Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occurred.  At home I have Windows XP on my computer.  I can get into VBB here, but it takes forever.  I believe that my sister has Windows 7 and she got in OK as a test for me, but she won't get into VBB because of what they have done in the past and she refuses to use this site.  Since all of us have been able to get in to VBB without trouble before and this problem just started last week, it must be something with VBB and not our computers.

Had to use firefox to get on tonight again. I am also wondering who is really
the one causing this. We have a lot of different states involved.  I don't
know what state Jean M. is from but we have a lot of people that are
having problems getting into this site. I can use my internet explorer on
all the other sites that I go to without ever having a problem. When I talked
to VBB they said there was no problem on their end!!! Very strange!!!

Add me to the list of those who could not access this site. Very frustrating, indeed.
