hmmmmmmm ..... an open mind???  I'm just not certain it's always correct.
Some things, a few things, we have to hold tight in our heads and hearts and never change no matter what we see.

Did I make any sense?

Ann...

Now this is a good one, hmmmm I think it's true.  A closed mind doesn't get you anywhere, as an open mind will!!

You need an open mind to investigate what is going on.  No one says you have to agree with everything you hear/see/read.  But if you don't ever experience anything new, you will not know what could have been a positive change.

Yes,NANCY,  you do &   expected/saw that answer  coming ( I even left  room for it)  It's  wasn't a a bad thought for a generic cookie cutter thing.
I hope for more pleasant  comments so we'll all have something to write &  think aboutKissSometimes thinking about our beliefs only serves to make them stronger.UndecidedKiss

Unfortunately there are a lot of people walking around with parachutes that they are afraid to open or ones that have been poorly packed.
Give me a bit of time and I will share some of the sayings that I particularly like.....have to get the dogs off my lap they are both on my lap and starting to "fight"

What happened to all the "old saws" that used to be quoted when we were children?  ie:  "A penny earned is a penny saved" "Do unto others..." "You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." My Dad used to do this all the time and it really made sense and gave us a sense of right and wrong.

This is a little story by Mark Twain: When I was a boy of fourteen my father was so ignorant that I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty one I was astonished at  how much the old man had learned in seven years.  This is my favorite !!!
