Then I'll head straight to church to do some painting.

Carol, congrats on the weight loss.  I know it can be difficult.  Some reason it goes on a lot faster and easier than it comes off.  (Took me about 18 months to get to about where I am now) Maintaining my weight loss has been just as much of a challenge as taking the weight off. (Maintained now for about 12 years)  And what everyone has always said..the last 10 pounds are the hardest..it is true!  I say "I would love to take off 10 more, 15 more would be wonderful and 20 would give me a nice "fudge factor"..and I love fudge so I strive for the 20 but I don't obsess over it"!

So breakfast this morning for me..1 peach and 1 nectarine sliced with a spoon full of 0 fat Greek style yogurt. A tall glass of ice water to wash down my vitamins. Going to have a not real healthy dinner..going to order Chinese and I am trying to behave until dinner.

Nikki,  Thank you, it really is hard but I have a lot of support from my Tops friends. I have lost over 30 pounds
now but still have to lose more. It will take longer than 18 months but I will make it. One of my friends at Tops
is trying to lose her last 10 pounds and she is really having a rough time!!  I will stay with Tops for the rest of
my life just to make sure that I maintain my weight.

Every Saturday I make waffles.  I try to make them healthy so use no white flour.  I use half rolled oats and half whole wheat flour.  I've had no complaints from hubby so they must be ok.

We had blueberry pancakes and fresh fruit this morning.  My husband always makes Sunday breakfast...usually buttermilk pancakes or waffles, or he will make French toast.

Were you the one who had potato chips for breakfast a couple of days ago?
I love potato chips a little too well but I can skip them for breakfast.

Nancy, potato chips are just another form of hash browns, right? God Bless You on stopping smoking, that is tough to do.I quit 14 years ago and I'm so glad I did.The price alone today is a great reason to quit not to mention the health benefits.Do you miss it,I sure don't .

Gale - it took me a long time to get over wanting a cigarette but it's gone now.  Hurrah!!
I still automatically reach for one in certain situations but that's gone in a flash.
It's very good to not "need" one.

One sister and her husband watched  me carefully when I quit.  Then she said, "you're the weakest person in the entire world.  If you can quit, we can too."     And they did.

10:20 AM and I haven't had breakfast yet.   Barbara mentioned french toast. ......  I haven't had french toast for 15? years.  Oh, that sounds good.
